Don't know if you're into the Undertale but there is a comic series that's dubbed here on TH-cam called Ragnartale and whenever I hear this version of a deeper Varian I think of that AU's Asriel who is a scorned corrupted Prince wanting to stick it to their parents for starting a war even though they didn't and I imagine in the middle of the series he would kidnap his mother as a statement to force is father's hand even though the king can't really do anything cuz he didn't start it but regardless he's singing the song to his mother while everyone else is singing their respective parts
