I've got a feeling that the Atrex will go 'to the moon'. This is an amazing addition, thanks Tony!

      Hi there, thanks for watching.
Yes, the Atrex has 3 User tone settings which you can program as you want.

@@oligrandt898 hey Oli, checked with Rutus and the Smart Audio feature is currently only available in the Basic Software version, on the Field program. Think they are looking at it for further use but they've been busy with the Multi Frequency... when I get a chance I will try and do a video on it for the non Polish speakers.

It would be nice if rutus would give more in depth information about the proces behind their options. I thought their water reject was their multi frequency option but couldn't find much information about the working behind it. In the field it didn't looked great and it was prone for loosing sensitivity on targets. Me thinking if it was multifrequency it uses very low frequency's or it uses a lot of filtering. I hope this will bring things to another level and is competitive to the equinox and Deus II. Can't wait to get my hands on the new firmware.

Hi. Water reject is using harmonic frequencies to improve detection to reject non-metal targets like coke, hot rocks and water (on one frequency they are „visible” for detector similar to metals, when you use more frequencies, the response from those targets is different than metallic objects). New multi frequency is a proper one, where detection is done on multiple frequencies and tests shows there is huge improvement on stability and identification. There was quick comparison done with NOX and range is more less equal, with George VI half crown on 14inches was still diggable signal on Atrex, but NOX on multitone seen it as a trashy, „no dig” signal

@@RobertWestWykopki yes, but I don't know what they mean with 'harmonic' haha..

@@TheInsox this is quite black magic for me a bit as well, but Arek explains it more less like that: VLF detectors works by sending one frequency and receiving response back on the same freq. But when you have got one freq set, there are also harmonic frequencies (just for basic example how it looks: your detector works on 4khz, harmonics are 8,12 and 16khz - I need to go back to source later on to confirm miltiplicator ) and response from harmonic freq is used in water reject function.
