I absolutely love the hypo carno. The horns, the speed, the sounds. Makes me think of a devil version of the carnotorus from Disney's Dinosaur. Especially some of the sounds. Maybe some aspects were inspired by that carno? Either way, it's amazing.
I was in that herd of Maias, and it’s hilarious because I literally said, “the hypo giga vanished. I bet he teleported behind us.” Two seconds after I said that, everybody started freaking out because, well, the hypo giga appeared behind us. I really enjoyed what went down yesterday, and I seriously hope something similar happens again in the future. My fingers are definitely crossed!
As someone who has recently found this game and someone who has also put around 6500hrs into ark on xbox, it's honestly amazing and so refreshing to see this kind of take on a dino game. Once upon a time I thought ark was a game from my childhood dreams but then I remember I used to run around my back yard pretending to be a velociraptor and the isle is a much better representation of what I never thought would be something I could do. Very grateful to have found this channel and very grateful to have found the isle.
Anth you scared the hell out of me when I was on my Theri during this. I had my poor two kids in the tree and all I saw was Carno stomp by, then ten minutes later Mr. H-Giga mouth comes shooting out of the darkness behind me as I took off full speed. When I saw you hunting my temporary husbando/brother later on I was the Theri charging down the hill. Bet I was coming for that tail!! (Was the scariest thing I've ever done on the Isle tho, no lie) Also props to Shadowdawn/Alpha who was the Dryo that got ten bites off the Hypo Giga

there should be a seperate animation called 'barge' which makes the hypo carno run faster and but loose more stamina and does 65-70% of the normal damage so it isnt too overpowered
Absolutely same! I watched one of Beaver's videos about The Isle. At first I didn't like it that much, but then I had to watch all of his videos. Later I started watching Anthomnia and it was so worth it. (Currently rewatching all of the 560 videos. ) ;)
I was just reading the chat and I see “BRING THE PUE!” And I was just sat here going, WELL RIP HYPOS! And just seeing it round the trees legit felt like a boss battle from shadow of the colossus
My favorite hyper so far is the Rex. It looks awesome without looking like such a mutation. The Giga is cool, the Carno is too, but the Rex looks just like we expect the dinosaurs in the next Jurassic World. That herd on the beach was AWESOME!

Man, I was so sad when I had to leave before the hypos appeared. I was AnthropomorphicKrill in chat at 1:13, telling my friend i had to go. I've never seen a hypo or anything before like that. Even though I play the official servers where hypos are more common I was lucky enough to get into the server after 10 mins of force connecting. I made it so far, but then me mum comes in and says "C'mon we need to go to your dad's house" so boom, I missed my chance. It was a fun video though! and I'm glad most people could be there to see one for real. I really hope the Hypo update comes soon!
Finally got this game! Though I wasn't thinking and bought it on my brother's steam account... so I have the wrong gamer name. Still, had a fun time running with a utah pack trying not to get eaten or fall off a mountain. Also found a bunch of unfinished buildings near the docks and by the twin lakes that I haven't seen in any videos yet.

Was one leading part of the Carno group was really epic. Followed the Hypo Carno from Twins to area close to sewer pond then finally to the Aviary and died after trying to kill the Hypo Carno after getting encouraged seeing the Hypo rex die. Big mistake, but totally worth it.

It's their server, they do what they want. 3. For two days straight they gave out random grows after this. It's completely fair and just for fun.
