Ceiling height in the Mayfair suite is way too low. Other than that I love the boutique vibe of the hotel. Not a fan of Hanover Square though. The Connaught offers all this with the superior Mount Street location.
Too small, I mean this is the problem for the whole European hotels. If you put this tiny 33sqm room in China, only worth 100 pounds. And all Mandarin Oriental and also other luxury brands has at least 50sqm as the size for entry level room. The standard in Asia is much higher that that in Europe, not to mention it’s very cheap to live. I never stay with luxury hotels in Europe just because it’s not worth it
Mandarin is up there, especially at the price category however you will obviously receive an exceptional service at either hotel so it really boils down to your taste..
I love the Lanesborough and I visit every time I’m in London but there’s no way I’d agree that it’s number one. As the others have said it boils down to personal taste.
Stunning.
It really is!
I walk into the Mayfair Suite for 10-13k per and I look right at a stove top??? I'll stick to Claridges ...otherwise the hotel is quite beautiful . :)

No, I had a show around their new hotel and experienced the ABar Lounge however will be staying later in the year! Make sure you are subscribed 😊
Mandarin is not even close to the best hotel in London. The Lanesborough is far superior to name but one. Don’t listen to this joker lol

There is no "best hotel" in London but there are "best hotels', there are a lot of great hotels in London to suit different tastes 😅
