Is it possible to change every sprite/texture of Gatete Mario Engine instead of playing a fangame with default engine textures? EDIT: I mean changing all the original engine graphics and put my own
Kind of. The game more of a tech demo for the engine. If you have Game maker studio 1.4 you simple download the source code and make what ever you want.

It's just download extract and run although 3 of the downloads are for game maker the one for the game is called GME.Anniversary.Edition.zip . If you were running that then it seems your computer doesn't like the game
@@bunbunyogore9405 no that's just for the source code, The game is stand alone. All you need to do is run the exe file to play, nothing else is required.

I can't do anything, the up key was overlapped with scrolling the buttons at the title screen

The default is spacebar. It can be changed in the options menu to something else its listed as reserved.
