    The trick on stickyt floor or difficult surfices like concrete you just hover the gliding foot (half a milimetre- barely noticable), so that it avlids the grip/stick. Peace

  • @Streetstyles4allCoUk
    @Streetstyles4allCoUk  16 ปีที่แล้ว

    The float was created by the guy that created gliding, but I stand corrected but I think it was albert prator in the 70's. Floating and gliding has been around before c-valwing and the famous 'V' that everyone or people from the younger generation think was the first time it has been has been used. Check wikindpedia for dates on the creation of C-walk etc

    Lotsa help in this video!
    One problem I always run into tho, is I like to do alot of slides in my dancing but it seems almost every club I go to doesn't allow the style of shoes best fit for it! Or the dance floor is like a basketball gym court and I stick to it like glue ... although I get some wet spots from people spilling drinks and I can look like a pro haha. Good stuff!

    Floating and gliding was around before cwalking if Im not mistaken. C-walk (crip or clown walk as the new term) has been around sice the creation of the crips gang. People were floating long before. Check Mr Wiggles Floats & Glides DVD or Video clips and you will see and learn from one of the TRUE pioneers. Ticking will green was the creator of the backwards glide and was floating/gliding long before MJ

    I must ask, how long do you usually train, and how often? I'm pretty new to this kind of dancing, so I was wondering what would be a good duration for a train time, usually.
    And how long have you been doing this?

    @NoisexKillua It was around before the C-walk etc styles. I am sure the moves have many names as this move was probably done hundreds of years back. I learned the name from Mr Wiggles and that is what I referr it to. If I find an earlier name I will use that one

  • @Streetstyles4allCoUk
    @Streetstyles4allCoUk  13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @tmntfreak14 if there is a lot of friction (hard to slide) Keep your foot slightly hovered above the floor and this will give the illusion of the glide and will also allow you to glide on any surface.
