My opinion about her is that she is signing these roles just to gain that "mass" audience so when she does movies like Qala or Bulbbul it would be backed by her star power. She IS being typecast lol. I haven't enough of her to make a complete judgement but from the little I've seen she's a way better actress than the likes of Janvi Kapoor or Sarah Ali Khan, but they just keep getting good, proper characters one after the other even though they can't act to save their lives. Tripti is forced to accept these sort of roles because they're the only ones being offered to her and she does have to do SOMETHING to establish herself and make some money too. It's sad, really. Moreso if she's not also enjoying this, that makes it 100x worse.
If Alia, Jhanvi, Sara would have done BulBul and Qala they would have been considered as Superstar. The hype would have been different. The project they will receive next would have been different. She IS being typecast lol. I haven't enough of her to make a complete judgement but from the little I've seen she's a way better actress than the likes of Janvi Kapoor or Sarah Ali Khan, but they just keep getting good, proper characters one after the other even though they can't act to save their lives. Tripti is forced to accept these sort of roles because they're the only ones being offered to her and she does have to do SOMETHING to establish herself and make some money too. It's sad, really. Moreso if she's not also enjoying this, that makes it 100x worse.
If Alia, Jhanvi, Sara would have done BulBul and Qala they would have been considered as Superstar. The hype would have been different. The project they will receive next would have been different.
Now, bollywood actresses are starving so much to get female centric role. And are unable to get one. While Tripti Dimri start her career with those kind of role and totally nailed it. Still, there is no such hype for her.
I will always respect her for Bulbul and Qala. She deserves better. I hope she will get it.
I think audience and Mumbai's high rent made her to sign films just for living.

Also she shot bad newwz before animal so even if animal didn’t happen she would’ve anyways been seen in bad newwz, and i don’t find anything wrong with the trailer of the film (Vicky vidya) and I don’t think anyone has an issue with actresses doing dance numbers (as long as it’s good) but it’s just that this song is so absurd even the choreography is cringe and she looks extremely uncomfortable.
