@@KyleDudak thanks! 1 in a normal list is fine but I feel like you need 3 if you're going for the actual stat check. And keep in mind some people can actually meet the stat check lol

@@itisthegenerator I think you really need the 3 to hit critical mass. A lot of armies can handle 2 norns. Only a few can handle 3. But if I was going to I'd say swarmlord and 10 hormagaunts
Interesting for sure. I see a lot of nexus lists running two but your 3 stack seems to have worked really well. I'm currently playing a variation of your other more shooty Nexus list which seems good so far, but the Internet seems very high on norns!
@@itisthegenerator I think the other version is way better TAC list and can express player skill more. The norn list is very much a stat check that a lot of things in the game just can't handle right now. People are going towards melee infantry and that caps at S10 in blood angels. Sister's melta spam is S10. So being t11 with 4++ and 5+++ and option to turn ap2 melee into ap1 is just a really strong defensive profile in the game right now. And being oc15 means if your opponent tries to just ignore them you suddenly jump ahead 30 points in 2 turns
Hi Matt. Greetings from New Zealand, and congrats on the result. Just finished watching both recap vids and noticed you talk about having a neurolictor multiple times, but you don't have one in your list. Did you do a whoopsie? 2080 points?
@@DepravedPanda yes I did. Earlier comment found that too. I notified the TO and he said it happens and just don't let it happen again. None of my games were close so even though it impacted the games it was not impactful enough that it would have skewed the results. Was a definite whoops and obviously Im not pushing trying to get away with anything.
People saying fixed is bad in this editions are idiots. By all means they are much better now than before. Also maybe i heard wrong, but in game 1, your opponent redrew defend stronghold because his units were battleshocked from your shadow in the warp? One draws missions before anything else, so he shouldnt have known that he was gonna be battleshocked. Our shadow in the warp cant happen before he gets missions.
@@danielhammer619 you're correct. I'm probably not recalling it correctly but I also tend to announce shadow as I'm passing my turn. I score my turn up and say "ok it's your turn 3 and I'm declaring shadows in the warp". I think you can discard objectives at any point in your command phase for a CP. But I also will announce it earlier than I should just to not forget about it
Yes and norn assimilator is 290. I got them swapped in the video but in the Warhammer app where I built the list it's obviously the correct points and it came out to 1990
