Allegiant Stadium's first big sports event! Concacaf Gold Final 2021 in Las Vegas

- Yesterday was the first big "post pandemic" sports event in the new Allegiant Stadium (and the first big sports event at this stadium - full stop - for me).
It was the Concacaf Gold Cup Soccer Final between USA and Mexico, which was a pretty spectacular opportunity to see this great new stadium in action. Also, an opportunity to catch something, but with the mandates in place, which people in general seemed to follow, let's hope we're ok there...
This video is a bit of a recap what I experienced arriving at the stadium that night. A few things I forgot to mention is that the "deep-reach" Wifi network was horrible and became pretty useless after a while. So, we were out of Wifi for most of the time. But, it did work at the gate for scanning the Ticketmaster ticket, which is a requirement now, since it is a dynamic ticket, which means it can't be photocopied or screen-grabbed, and relies on having an active connection with the server. Having an internet connection at the gate therefore is critical!
Also, heard a lot of people complaining about arriving and parking at the stadium, but I drove a few exits further, parked 3 blocks from the stadium and walked the rest of the way without issue :)

I’m a life long Raider fan and was able to get a tour of the stadium and it’s really beautiful and nicely built . The Raiders have one bad ass stadium 🏟

Thanks! Well, I stepped away right before intermission so it wasn't busy at the bathrooms just yet, so I can't tell... not sure if there would be enough if everyone would go at the same time tbh...

I was in section 232, I usually prefer higher up, you see more of the stadium that way :)

I think I paid like a little over $200
$400 and up for most spots.

Very Nice, but video of everyone's arrival does not address the departure. Everyone knows Clarke County let you down. Lets get the monorail to the stadium and on to the airport and Brightline. I'm coming and I wont have a car.
Just take an Uber/Lyft or walk from Mandalay Bay down Hacienda. Easy peasy.
@@user-gj1me4mf5c how many Uber or lifts are there. They will play a part. But it's 65,000 minus those that drive. Yes there will be busses. But it's math and every single city is dealing with it. Electric Cars are closer than you think. Their range will get better but let's stick with 4 hours tops. It's 6 hours from LA and rail is betting for a few dollars most will take a 3 hour train to sin city. And they will. Your gonna need that last mile travel. So it's the big picture. The monorail was a piece of the puzzle and I suspect it will be in the future. The Loop will help. But it's planned to expand with private investment with limited ridership. Yes much larger transports and be built. But much refinement is in the waiting including larger tunnels addressing fire and evacuation. It's all meeting at Brightline station 🚉 that's coming.
It's all math that's going to add up in dollars and time with visitors before it can with business.
