8:53 Absolutely, Kessler's worth two first round draft pics. He was drafted 22nd in 2022 and if you look at his draft class I think he's the 3rd best to come out after Paola and Chet. Maybe there's a debate for 3rd with Jabri Smith Jr. Who would you rather have right now? I think I would take Kessler hands down. So you're giving up one 1st round draft pick because he's Walker Kessle and he went 22nd in the draft just 2 years ago so he'svery young. You're giving up the 2nd first round draft pick, because you now know his skills and he's shown his value and you know how he'll fit on your team. @ yes, but that doesn’t mean a different team couldn’t offer him a contract we can’t match, right? What if Utah comes back and offers him 3 years, $100m with $40m year one? That offense is trash and trading away Paolo isn't going to help that.
OMG Jazz wants Bronny James
No 2 firsts for a defensive player and that's it he's gonna want a bag too and that would be a mistake to go e 2 firsts and a bag for a player that's not leading your team anywhere
yeah but then you don’t have to rely on AD using all his energy on Jokic, don’t have to worry about Lebrons laziness on defense as much. Frees AD up on offense (when playing pf) and of course defense
When Lebron plays like this, I'd rather trade AD and others if somebody wants them and start to tank.
Team doesn't go anywhere with this version of Lebron anyway 😢
Figure it out somehow
The lakers fans that are upset y’all aren’t jumping on this deal to get Kessler. Yall have two massive problems you don’t have any firsts until late 2029,2030 drafts most teams want current draft picks y’all also have no assets and im not talking about knect because Yall won’t trade him or reeves so nobody wants what Yall have being real.
Yeah but if your the Lakers how long do you wait?
Problem is, Jazz and Nets I think are the only teams with cap space. Who’s to say Utah doesn’t trade him to us then give him a crazy front loaded deal next year that we can’t match
Edit- got the answer from Conjuer, thanks boss! Utah can’t sign him until the following summer.
Lakers would automatically get his bird rights. So that can't happen
@ yes, but that doesn’t mean a different team couldn’t offer him a contract we can’t match, right? What if Utah comes back and offers him 3 years, $100m with $40m year one? That puts us way into the second apron if we match. Utah would look at it as “either we got those Laker picks for free because we got Kessler back, or we severely crippled the lakers and chances are the picks we get from them are better”
They can't don't that this coming off season if they trade him. The would have to wait one more full season to make him an offer IF he was a free agent and hasn't extended or agreed to a matched offer elsewhere.
@-_Bee it can happen with one of the 30 other teams if we didn't match his contract, but the Jazz couldn't make an offer on him until after the end of the 2025-2026 season, if he wasn't extended elsewhere.
@@conjureconquercreate909 awesome, thank you! I know a good amount of cap stuff and how things work but Wasn’t sure how that worked. Near impossible to find that specific of info on Google 😂
U def high on Kessler he was good coming in but why they trying to get rid of em
Respectfully to all the laker fans.... y'all have negative assets. If you think dlo, gabe, and jhs has value. U are mistaken. Knowing Utah. They probably ask for Austin and or Dalton.
The Jazz hate for Kessler is crazy; *IF* he makes it to the deadline, they sound like they’d take Jaxson and a 1st and feel like they upgraded. They are OUT on Kessler.
Danny Ainge has never ever lost a trade this way. I know you Lakers fans are delusional, but Kessler is not being traded for 1 first round pick
Remind me how he won giving up Vando, Beasley to save Westbrook 😂
@@musestarlight1essentially, they got the Lakers 2027 first round pick, for Vando and Beasley.
They were never going to use Westbrook, they waived him almost immediately. This kinda gets Utah into the good Graces of both LA teams, since Utah bailed the Lakers out and also let the Clippers sign him for cheap 😂
Lakers got nothin for/from Beasley, and they couldn't get a 1st round pick from Vando if they put him up on the trade block.
They already turned down 2 1sts. They aren't accepting trash and 1 1st lmao
ROB, PULL THE TRIGGER NOW!! 💯🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀
Lakers have about much chance of landing him as they do making the first seed in the west lol
Imagine paying two first for a younger timofey mozgov
2 first round picks??
Shocker!!!!!! Trevor you and everyone saying 1 first and JHS would be enough no one believes these rumors and I think everyone knew the jazz would ask for 2 firsts and more BS were always getting fleeced by these farm teams
When did I say that would be enough?
Lakers need to trade hafl of team!
Lakers going to get fleeced
Come on, you guys remember the rumors, they not letting LeBron get that 5th ring. No matter what.
LeBron is "them"
1st pick and Gabe for Kessler
Why does Utah want that?
Jonas Valanciunas better
Players like walker Kessler are not players you build around. He is a role player. Only lakers fans would consider 2 firsts for a role player. You're talking yourself into another ridiculous trade. Just stop.
Kessler, Sexton for DLO, JHS and 2 pics you got a solid Center and a PG/SG and don't have to worry about It ... Much better then Claxton $28mi and Cam Thomas who does the same thing Knecht does.
Throw in one more contract too, so we can open a roster spot
@procams1164 Lewis
😂
Just trade Lebron😂
hype for nothing Lakers will not make a move lol
Celtics. Just say Celtics and then stop talking.
Pelinka won't sign any big man his an idiot
If I'm Rob, I give those two 1st round picks NOW. There isn't a world where this is worse than the Westbrook experiment plus this helps win now.
No offense to you, cause its not your fault, but every time you make this video it ends with "The team has a high asking price right now so no trades will happen"
I mean look around every team wants 2 first for role players
@@savagesavage8635 Yeah but none of those trades happen so all of these videos are kinda repetitive in nature. No one is trading picks so easily. Most of the picks are concentrated in like 5 teams none of which are really trying to add pieces
@@blablablaa14I know that’s the point its early in the season once the deadline comes around thats when teams lower the price
@@savagesavage8635 So what is the point of the videos? If they don't inform us about anything relevant because the trade market is in delusion mode right now
1frp makes sense two I'd rather have old Dwight
DWight is busy with his transgender lover Kitty... Busy as Kitty is asking g for money..
TRADE THE 2 PICKS FOR KESSLER BEFORE ITS TOO LATE !!!
Lakers should offer a 1st and two 2nd’s and remove the protections on 2027. done get it moved on
I would say they have to move AR, i prefer AR to DLo but the idea of standing pat is too much. we have 2 1st, AR can be value so we negotiate like we have 3 first.
@@Leafar-LALAR is untouchable from the lakers standpoint unless it’s for a start level player.
