Bill Nye the Science Guy was a Tv show in the 90s. He made science fun and easy to understand for children in Canada and the US. He is the icon of everybody's childhood who had an interest in science.

He is a really awesome scientist. He made a ton of funny science videos for primary school aged kids, and more recently he's made not as humorous videos for adults. I don't know a ton about him though, so you should research him a bit more.
