What I like about you and your vids is the way you interact and treat your horses, the way you pet and stroke them and the little kiss every once in a while shows great character and a very sweet personality, keep it up Joe and stay safe.
Admire your modesty and genuine affection for horses. A video giving advice on how to buy a schoolmaster would be nice. Can ride but thought that a schoolmaster when I start competing would be helpful.
Great video. Wonderful memories of your journey. Big was huge! Love the greys all on a row. Reminds me of a horse I had on loan many years ago. Midnight, 3/4 shire, she was nearly 17 hands and I was only 5" myself, but once on her she was so comfy and a real sweetheart.
My favourite video of yours. Perfect timing too - my boy had his first proper canter today, and I loved showing him pics of another little boy riding ponies 😍
You are so lucky to have been able to ride all these beautiful ponies your a lovely lad I wish you all the best in your riding career. Thanks for sharing.😎
Love this!! Super sweet. Please could you do a "ride with me" vlog? What tack your horses wear, why they wear it, how you warm up for different exercises etc. Woukd love to see that!! X
I love the way you give each horse credit. It’s easy to dismiss success as “inherited”, but you put horseback riding (especially jumpers!).. as an education.
Another really good video. You should do a quarantine routine lol Just what your doing to keep them fit etc. Currently hacking my main one 12 miles once a week and she comes back without a sweat so its safe to say shes fit.
I am new to this channel. You give incredibly interesting and well covered information of how you came to be. As you were talking to the camera standing besides you horse Romeo , you could tell you and him have an incredible relationship. It seems your voice has a very calming effect to him as he never once moved as you were standing there besides him, and it seems you were putting him to sleep. It's obvious you are very special to him , and he tremendously loves your company. He too has an aura of total trust in you. So wonderful ! I'm still in awe that he is only 15.2 hands high for he just flys over those huge fences like a beautiful rocket. Cheers
Hey love the videos watching from Ireland 🇮🇪 would love a video explaining how to make show jumping into a living/business. Not asking how much you make but like what kind of income outlets and expenses out in the yard and competing 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hi Joe, I really enjoy your videos, you have some great horses and come across as a very likeable person. I'm not normally a huge Showjumping fan, I've been a racing man all my life, but I've been really interested in your videos, and I'll start watching your Showjumping in the future.
Coming across this video in 2022 and I realised watching it I now ride your old piebald 148 snoopy and have had him for the last three years! He is just the best 148 and is still a little legend at the age of 22!
I absolutely love the photo of the three greys!😍 I need to know your secret of how you got blue sooooo clean! Even if you put a rug on my pony he will manage to get muddy!🙄😂
You didn't seem too happy with floss's idea, but it's history for us to get to know you 😉 it's so nice that you keep them through there retirement such a great horseman your vlogs are brilliant thank you for making me smile 😃
The first “Gunner” lol reminds me of my late” grey OTTB. She would jump a cross rail one day, the next jump a full jumper course. She wasn’t a dirty stopper though, she let you know her intentions. She had so much scope, but at the time I couldn’t keep up. Oh yeah, she jumped a 3’6” Oxer at a show because I got confused.. I had a dream about her last night, she’s been gone four years.
Same way i broke my arm except it was an instructor who set a bad stride and my horse the back pole of an oxer hit him in the chest cuz he tried to go to long and we fliped he is ok amd I only broke my arm
I’m 11 and have only just got a pony on loan for 2 months she’s 10 but has only just really started jumping but there’s a few horse I ride in lessons and have probably only jumped around 85-90 cm I’m kinda scared to go any bigger how would you recommend jumping higher
Do you know where willow is now? There’s a little grey at my local riding school who looks exactly like the willow at 4:23, she’s a brilliant little pony and I was wondering if they could be the same pony?
Are this is so interesting I have got a 14.1 cob/cony,she has helped me so much with my riding Zola is only 9 but loves jumping. It would be nice to have a video on what’s a good first jumping pony. Tysm
please answer this, what was snoopy’s show name because my friend competed a pony just like him called snoopy and had the same markings. she compted hime really high
Your horse Romeo seems to be very bored and not very excited here. I think it's because as much as he adores and loves you, he's not hearing his name in all the fun experiences you once had as a kid and he's a little jeolous. And waiting patiently to hear about himself in all the greatness he has helped you attain. Hes got the look like Mr Ed had when Wilbur , his owner , didn't include him in all his fun times. But , Romeo stands there patiently by your side just waiting for you to bring his name into all the pictures. What a great horse. !
Beautiful horses and sweet video! 🐴🏇💕❤
I wish l grew up around horses
nicole healy same

Their not embarrassing there cute cutier than mine ever was x
Better than mine are now. 16 years in
Romeo falling asleep was the funniest thing 😂😭😂
What I like about you and your vids is the way you interact and treat your horses, the way you pet and stroke them and the little kiss every once in a while shows great character and a very sweet personality, keep it up Joe and stay safe.
Thank you! Hope you are staying safe at the moment :)
Admire your modesty and genuine affection for horses. A video giving advice on how to buy a schoolmaster would be nice. Can ride but thought that a schoolmaster when I start competing would be helpful.
Great idea thanks :)

How sweet! it's greatt reflecting back on all the horses we have loved along the way and that were our best teachers!
My favourite video of yours. Perfect timing too - my boy had his first proper canter today, and I loved showing him pics of another little boy riding ponies 😍

I am very lucky!:)
The pony ones are really too cute! Loved that a lot could retire with you & had a good laugh with Romeo's not-really-interested face :')
I can't even imagine growing up with that many greys - I can imagine you had quite a bit of stain remover
This made my day these photos are so funny and cute at the same time 😂😊
Beautiful to see that you've kept your passion for horses! Grew up around horses as well.
Lovely video!
Love this!! Super sweet. Please could you do a "ride with me" vlog? What tack your horses wear, why they wear it, how you warm up for different exercises etc. Woukd love to see that!! X

@@teamstockdale cant wait 😝
Great video again!
Loved this! Was nice to see some of your past ponies ☺️
Thanks for watching :)
You were very lucky to have a school team
Could you please share what/how did you adjust moving up to horse? Or the difference between how your ride your horses?
9:46 woah why does that bridle look so strange?😂 No throatlash or anything holding the noseband up 🧐😂
I love the way you give each horse credit. It’s easy to dismiss success as “inherited”, but you put horseback riding (especially jumpers!).. as an education.
Love the photo at 11:38 ! You are such a great rider!
Thank you Flora :)
