I agree, since people are already talking about the Mike tyson and Jake paul fight and how disappointing it was, they are more inclined to check out other martial arts such as MMA. So it was smart of them to upload this as it gives people a taste of what UFC is made of.

It’s more than Jones being fast, there’s just no good way to attack him without paying a steep price. Simply moving into position to strike him, you have to be prepared to counter literally every angle. Being 42 doesn’t help, but even a young quick guy is going to struggle and look “off”.
Jones continues to be the best I’ve ever seen.

@calebcooper2333 go rewatch the fight. Sure Reyes lost those rounds but he continues to land moving backwards and has significant strikes in the double digits. The way you describe 4-5 make it seem like they're two 10-8 rounds. Absolutely not, and the tired Reyes still got up instantly from Jon's takedowns. His losing streak after only makes Jones look worse, his chin is paper and he didn't rock him at all despite landing well in 4-5. 3-2 Reyes no matter how you cut it.

He barely finishes fights, he got dropped by Tai Tuivasa, showed below average IQ against a Francis with double knee injuries, and idk if you've been keeping up with the division because Cyril blatantly ducked Tom before the pav/Tom fight was made. Tom already defended as IC his next fight should be for the undisputed belt, or should I say DISPUTED belt🤣

I learned this a long time ago: you never bet against Jon Jones, no matter who he’s fighting. it's clear that stipe's team thought that putting on weight would allow him to hurt jon with his power as well as endure jon's attacks (unlike vs ngannou, where they wanted him slimmer to try to avoid ngannou and control the range). hilariously, that plan would've been better against ngannou, and his plan against ngannou would've worked better against jon. teams are almost as important as fighters, jon's team has been underrated for years, he's always incredibly prepared for his opponents

Might as well put stipe on a silver platter and a fork in front of Jones at this point in his career. Winning against this version of stipe does nothing for his legacy or career. Fight aspinall and lose just like he did against reyes, gustaffson and alves had he not torn his knee. Dude has no hands or standup and no answer for pressure or fighters who can throw down. He doesnt counter or trade, he folds up and runs. U can see he did it even in this fight against stipe everytime he was pressured with hands he runs he has no answer for it.

i'll tell u one weapon he doesnt have...HANDS! Everytime he has fought a fighter who takes the fight to him and has hands he gets his ass beat. (Alves, gustaffson, reyes)...look when a slow past his prime stipe was aggressive and pressured him, he couldnt counter or trade, he just runs and crumbles just like the aforementioned fights. It’s honestly just absurd how Jon Jones continues to just walk through legends like he’s fighting unranked fighters. He’s just on a different level. The only fights I’ve ever seen him even get challenged at all were Gustafson in the first fight and DC at times in both fights. The only fighter who has ever been this dominant was Khabib and that was obviously a much shorter period and in a much more one dimensional manner. Just the expression on Ciryl Game’s face after their fight says everything you need to know about Jon Jones as a fighter…

bro...stipe was 42 past his prime, looked slow, no head movement or footwork, standing target...u obviously dont follow UFC or have any sense to u. What legends? He fought cormier with a massive size, athletic and age advantage barely squeezed out a decision first fight, second fight cheated, and ducked and refused to fight him at HW admitting it would be a bad fight for him and he'd probably lose. He lost to reyes, gustaffson, was losing to alves until alves tore his knee or he wouldve lost that fight too...he ducked ngganou, actively ducking aspinall...what a joke this guy's career is. Fought most his career with a massive size advantage while ALSO ON PED's!!! Hes not that great of a fighter, never been impressed by him.
