Little Amal Parades through the Bywater, New Orleans

A compilation of clips from the "Little Amal Meets Fantastical Creatures", walking performance / parade through the Bywater. Dance krewe choreography and performance by reese johanson and company members of the (collective). The project collaborated with numerous New Orleans creators as shown throughout. Foundational practice for the choreography started with Body Mind Centering practices seen in video 2, and during the performance/parade route the performers improvised from material we created in the studio from Joan Evans' Techniques, while we practiced Flocking, a somatic and improvisational technique.
