Baijue love Shanggu deeply, he did everything to bring Shanggu back to life even if it's nearly impossible, he split his original being to absorb two different power for him to have the power of chaos he could have died if tiny problem occur while splitting his original being, after Shanggu came back to life Baijue takes Shanggu memories for her to not know about her responsibility and Baijue is willing to take that responsibility of chief God which is to sacrifice himself for the tribulation of chaos and only Tianqi knows it since he also had that same idea way back before Shanggu sacrifice herself. Baijue didn't want Shanggu to know about his plan since she might stop it from happening and would sacrifice herself again since that's her duty as the chief god of chaos. Until the day of tribulations Baijue manage to hide it from Shanggu since he also don't want Shanggu to experience what he experience when Shanggu sacrifice herself. Seeing the one he love sacrificing herself and disappeared infront of him that's so painful for Baijue.
Shanggu thought Bai Jue didnt knew what she experienced in the Nether World but little does she know that he was actually guarding her at that time even though he is already sick he even got hurt too...
when I can't fully hate Bai Jue for what he is doing because it's also for shanggu's sake but I can't help but to feel angry to him in this episode. but of course i was more angry during ep 41 where GU JUN and Houchi died huhu.. that's the part I cursed Him countless time huhu
Bai Jue is just stupid to be honest. He have always been like this from the start. He does everything he thinks is best for Shanggu without actually consulting her. I dislike guys that think they know best for the girl they love so they hurt them instead. For me it's stupidity. I know he is doing all this so Shanggu wouldn't be hurt once he sacrifice his life but she was hurt a hundred times worse along the way & find out the truth of his sacrifice anyway and was hurt even more. She spend 500 years kneeling down to bring him back in the end. So now tell me is him hurting her worth it then?! What was it for when in the end Shanggu find out the truth anyway. LOL
Can't blame him, he made his plan for 60,000 years and it almost gotten ruin when quingmu and houchi fell in love. Also it was him that message gujun to come get houchi, so what happened to houchi was just unfortunate cause wuhuan wanted to harm her and was given a chance to attack houchi when tianqi attacked baijue, and she took it.

Who suffer more, compare to shanggu only have to wait for 500 years, baijue has been waiting for 60,000 years to help shanggu change her fate. Also he wants her to hate him and move on with her life. Compare to his suffering when she died in front of him, having to split his original being so he could obtain chaos power damaging his power in the process so I can say her suffering is so much less than his pain. When he came back as baijue his power was damage that's why he has to stay away from her to protect her from wuhuan, so as far as his plan is concern he and tianqi did a pretty good job of fooling wuhuan and reveal her true color, as well as protecting shanggu and her child while she was unconscious.

Isn't it more painful when you realize that you hated the other person and said/did all those hurtful things to him only to realize that he sacrificed a lot for you and now you can't really talk to them because they're dead. They should have just spent the remaining time with each other and face death full of love and with no regrets.

I think in his mind, she will have lots of times and will forget about him eventually, and once she has her memory back the pain will be lessen. I also kind of understand his concern about her going behind his back and sacrifice her life again if she knew about what her fate has in store for her. It has happen once before, even houchi is similar to shanggu in that aspect when she went behind qingmu back to accept her banishment for 100 years cause she wants to protect him or when she didn't want him to help her stealing the three artifacts to bring boxuan back. Both of them did it out of love. I can't say it's wrong for him to do that since I didn't have to go through what he has to go through when he loss her once before.

Wakes up and finds out that the man she loves had a son, 2 women, and is cold to her. It's confusing and exasperating being in blank. She just wants answers ...but he keeps giving her the cold shoulder
Una serie cautivadora desde el episodio uno, si. Una quimica impresionante, si. Un amor hermoso, tmb, pero lo q no acepto es el modo cruel y despiadado q elije Bai jue para proteger a Shanggu y su hijo. Comprendo el porque pero JAMÁS ACEPTARÉ el como lo hizo. Creo innecesarias tantas lágrimas derramadas, tanto dolor. El es un personaje al q amo y odio profundamente. Deseé con fuerza más de una vez q shanggu o houchi lo mataran y seguro algunas o muchas estarán en desacuerdo conmigo pero es mi sentir y no con esto le tiró veneno a la serie. Solo creo q su método despiadado para no "hacer sufrir" a sus seres queridos les trajo más sufrimiento q felicidad y alegría. Los despreció, los ignoró, los humilló, maltrato y todo en nombre del amor q les profesa. Q absurdo. No importa el porque lo hizo. Creo q había otro camino. Pero es un drama al fin y al cabo q me gustó pero admito q una parte predominante de mi corazón habría disfrutado ver a bai jue morir a manos de houchi o shanguu por todo lo q las hizo sufrir
Desde el principio el drama nos quiso jugar a malas porque primero Shanggu y Bai jue se enamoran Shanggu muere después nos vamos a la historia de Houchi y Qingmu yo me enamore de esa pareja por lo tierno que era pero al final los dos mueren porque solo han sido utilizados como recipientes para los dos Dioses (Bai Jue y Shanggu) al final nace el bebé de Houchi y Qingmu hay es donde Tianqi toma lugar y cuida al niño por 100 años hay es donde Shanggu despierta y se da cuenta de todo lo que pasó a casi por terminar el hijo de Qingmu (Bai jue) lo llama por primera y última vez “padre” esa parte fue la que más me dolió ver Y justo al final Bai jue se sacrifica y por todos los siglos que Shanggu espero por el, el cielo no pude hacer nada y ya después de estas años esperando a Bai jue el cielo le devolvió a Shanggu Bai Jue no se si podríamos llamarlo un buen final.
