This was my first month as an EDC Club subscriber. Ive tried other subscriptions before and promptly canceled. This was an absolute treat to unbox. Cant wait for next month
Very cool. I really like the work sharp sharpener
I like a knife with some weight in my pocket, but I might carry that beautiful green knife to a wedding or fancy dinner. Pretty piece.
Honestly, I thought this box was going to be the first meh box from Going Gear EDC . . .
But man that sharpening system just knocks it out of the park. It is wild how they still continue to be by far the most consistently high quality box on the channel. I love your unboxings for discovering gear to add to my daily use / just in case. But this is the only box I've considered subbing too
Jumping back to this. Have you had any more time with the sharpener? Which would you recommend between this and the lanskey (or something else entirely).
Edit: Also a shoot out video between the two could be cool to see. Pick up two of the same knife, dull em up a bit. then work them through each sharpening system. see the times and effort it takes to recondition each one and how well they come out. Could even become a series of sorts. Compare the winner to old fashioned stones. You on the stones, and one of the boys on the sharpener.

You gotta press it deep in there!
Its a little hard at first but if you unscrew it slightly it makes pressing the backside button easier!
I love that spyderco and that folder. At first I was meh about the work sharp bc I had a lansky and I prefer to do it by hand, but this one looks nice.
Absolutely love my work sharp. It does a great job of making sharpening easy and with all those grits, it even work with re-shaping a blade if needed. Only downside is trying to sharpen a recurve is not as easy or accurate
The stones that you got in that kit are the only ones that Worksharp makes as far as I know. If you need other stones, Wicked Edge stones do fit this sharpener. I have both, and Wicked Edge offers way more stone options, but the Worksharp is much more convenient.
Solid box..good edc blades...and the sharpener is great too.
@Doc have you heard that both types of cicadas will be coming out this year? Apparently that hasn't happened in like 200 years or so, it sounds like it might exceed your last cicada event lol. Decent box this time and I would be interested to see your thoughts on that worksharp after you play with it for a bit, thanks for showing!

I love fixed blades but not a Bowie but that being so small I could rock that on my hip without drawing too much attention so I really like that

I have to admit I have had that sharpener in my hands, or a cart basket a few times now. But I didn’t buy it. I keep thinking the second I do BB is going to send it to me 😂. I don’t know how much longer I can hold out !!

I love all diff kinds of subscription boxes.... from edc to battlbox...and it looks like battlbox is legitimately trying to make there boxes good again!!!! Like they used to be. . The first 3 years battlbox was great!!!!
I liked everything in the box other than the plastic shiv which if a inmate in prison can make one I not paying 60$ for a piece of plastic
