Good old memories from my dear brother. If I may add, MKO political career actually began earlier with his election as Representative of the then Abeokuta LG at the Constituent Assembly in 1978. Preparations began in 1977 with campaigns and subsequent election of the L.G. Councillors. Daddy, as he was fondly called, defeated Chief Soji Odunjo. The Constituent Assembly gave birth to five registered parties including UPN and NPN, which MKO became Ogun State Chairman.
