What's the rule comparing 170 with 190 in availability of parking in spots at malls, restaurants, etc. even streets? Like the 170, can I still park "ANYWHERE" with a 190? Or is the 170 basically the longest length allowed to avoid hassle in parking stalls and streets?
Nice description, but having little experience with and knowledge about RVs, it would be helpful to neophytes if capacities/specs were included, e.g. capacity of the potable water tank, water heater, gas tank, and propane tank; approx. mileage per tank of gas, clearance height of the vehicle, etc, as well as other features, e.g: - is the rear-mounted camera a backup-only cam, or does it constantly display the rear view to replace the rear-view mirror? Does it show yellow or red "guide lines" when moving in reverse gear? When moving in reverse, is there a beeping backup alarm? If someone is willing to sacrifice the storage space, can it be fitted with a Solar City Power Wall?
YEs, compressor fridge is the BEST way to go here! FYI, there are three very good small mobile fridges that can be used,,,on amazon. wil not run down your battery,
Way back when I had an uncle in rural Ohio who when asked on the phone, "How are you?" would say, "Sick in bed on 2 chairs" meaning a bed made of a 2"x12" about 6 ft long on 2 chairs. The reviewer didn't show it but you rotate the front passenger seat 180° and there is some sort of cushioned plank to fill in. The model shown has the wardrobe right behind the driver. Another model has another passenger seat there. So the one shown could sleep 3.
Ian, I was busting balls when I sent that last email; you do a great job on these reviews/videos and seem like a true professional. I get it, I was in sales, just seems a bit funny with the way all you RV guys say things "will have" because it would seem confusing especially when you are selling a specific RV on the lot. Meaning, it either has the option/item or it doesn't. Kind of makes it sound like it doesn't but could, if you follow. I get the part of making the video language sound like it's theirs already. Regardless, I'm hooked on these 170 Versatiles, and I'm going to buy one soon enough, been looking hard for the past 6 months. I would like to call you and get you my info in case you come across one with the ecotrek, voltstart and U/H generator with solar....those are a must. What I want to ask you today is your candid opinion on that chassis and the chevy express engine offered? I don't like the idea of the sprinter size, engine, lack of power etc....I can deal with a few less mpg and have the smallest unit....just me....not towing or packing anything other than a few things. Yes, you can connect to 30A shore power. You can also connect to your house, but most people don't have 30 amp service, therefore you won't be able to effectively run your A/C or microwave. Thanks for watching and for the question! -Ian Baker
