  • This 1922 Mahogany drop-leaf table top was in rough shape! After a little elbow grease, a few sharp tools and some custom finishing, the outcome was better than I had hoped.

    I'm just here for the stripping and the bare wood... Can I borrow some of that water based lacquer, by the way. On a more serious note, I really enjoyed this video. The table looks outstanding and I am sure your client was more than happy to be the receiver of your hard work. Nice job!

    I love the idea of using a cheap chisel as a card scraper, that's a great tip I will have to remember

    Beautiful job on the table!!!! Did not know you can use that tool to scrap off the finish. Really like the music you picked. Can you share the name of the cleaner you used on the legs? Thanks!

    Can you please tell us the brands of the clean wax that you're using. And the other brands you're using for the top

    What is a dust nib?

    • @hearthsidewoodworks
      @hearthsidewoodworks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dust nibs are fine bits of debris that gets into a finish and become a tiny spiky point sticking out from the dried finish. They make a finish feel rough and look uneven.
