I was a saleslady as a student and once an older lady came to the store. She said that I was so kind to her that she wanted to give me something. She gave me a small bottle of lavender oil. I went on vacation with my friend and we both had heavy suitcases. To get to the hotel we had to take the subway but it was broken so we had to carry our suitcases up some longs stairs. A guy walking behind me grabbed my suitcase and helped me carrying it. I told him thank you but I think he didn't understand my language. But I do believe he understood what I was talking about. It was just a little bit of kindness and it happened 2 years ago but I still remember it :)
Once i was walking home from school with my brother and aunt and we saw this old lady walking with some groceries and she slipped on the ice so me and my aunt and brother ran to help her up and carry her bags.So she offered to give me and my aunt and brother money.So we said no thank you so she gave us a box of chocolate and we took it and she told us God Bless You i will never forget that day even though it wasnt something big it still helped someone out.

The mom said that her kids had seen the tough time I had and had prayed for me while waiting for their food. They were on the road to a place several hours away and had only stopped for a meal. I gave the kids each a package of cookies, and the mom several more so the kids would have something to eat when they got hungry again.

This Christmas I was sick and I couldn't go with my parents to another province to see my brother and family. I was home alone for Christmas and not feeling well. My friend invited me over on Christmas eve and then again on Christmas Day (but I couldn't go) and kept in touch to want to get together and see how I was doing. So sweet and kind of her. Another time my parents and I were all sick on Christmas and my cousin brought food to us from across the city for Christmas dinner.
I am so sorry to hear that you were sick during Christmas. It can be really hard to miss spending time with our families. Another time I was sick, that time for a year... and I walked to the bird sanctuary and I was really isolated socially at that time , and there was this photographer there taking pictures of the birds, and he just stayed quiet and peaceful and asked me friendly questions and kept me company. And he didn't run away when I said that I was having health problems, or like lots of other people would from a stranger. He was so nice and a comfort to me, to keep me company for a bit. Later I found him on facebook and he takes pics of birds and is generally a kind person.
