Nice and ckean looking trollies. I bet filming them in Autumn as well as in snow scenes would look nice.

It's pretty awesome how good of shape these trolleys are in despite being 40 years old at this point. the new Alstom rolling stock will be a welcome upgrade to the fleet but I have to admit that I will miss these old high-floor units.

Looking at the destination at 01:08... someone obviously has a sense of humor!

First off, thanks for the great video. I find portals to be fascinating, guess it's just the fact of seeing trains going in and out of those dark passages. I did notice sometimes a trolley would go left, other times right when exiting the portal. Is there a switch at those locations to control the track I wonder.

Now, we have 4 trolleys out of commission: one has been stripped, one was recently involved in accident that wasn't SEPTA's fault, one careened out of control into a building, and the other was severely damaged in the Elmwood yard. Will SEPTA have enough trolley to supplement each trolley route?

Some motorists don't realize that the trolley tunnels are Only for trolleys and the drive down in there and get stuck. Off road vehicles cannot drive down in these trolley tunnels! They'll get stuck just the same and tie up service for hours!

I am wondering why they’re not operating the PCCII trolley cars that are rebuilt from original PCC cars

They have been taken out of service to be rebuilt again.

@@truckspotting7473 I live all the way in Texas. Unfortunately I’m gonna be in south Texas near San Antonio this weekend there other train related stuff to do there. Hopefully I will be able to film what I can.

I prefer the Kawasaki cars anyway! I've wondered that too but I'm glad it's the K-cars instead of the PCCs because I grew up loving the Kawasaki LRVs.
