    In South Africa, you pay taxes that get stolen by the cANCer (ANC ruling party). Then you hire private companies to do the government jobs - security, medical, schools, everything. Everything you must get done by private enterprise, and pay for it. We pay taxes twice.

      there are maybe only a handful ones yes, but at least 99 % of the cops in SA are themselves corrupt, as how many times when these groups are caught there's a cop involved and most of the R5 being used in these acts are either "stollen" or given to them by a cop, and the control room workers are 100 % involved by giving out the information of the said days route going to be used, as how do they know where the vehicle is going to be at that moment

    This is what happens when you have a government of criminals, for criminals, staff by criminals. A large portion of the police have criminal records and they are frequently found to be involved in these types of crimes. The great part of these robberies, are that the robbers very seldom use the money wisely, instead spending most of it on alcohol.

      I was referring to the Special Task Force, which was a tier one special force comparable to the British SAS and the American delta force. The men who served in it were first-rate operators - the finest Africa has produced - and specialised in counter-terrorism. You can read about their operations online. You can also read about what happened to best people in the unit: they were all, down to a man, driven out of the service by the ANC's usual mixture of corruption, nepotism and criminal negligence. Most ended up in the US working in private security and earning twenty times what they could in South Africa. I assume you will regard this as a 'victory' for the 'liberators', but these men had skills and competencies that South Africa has never replaced. Driving them away destroyed the capacity of the state to deal with the criminality that now cripples our country.
      FYI the Special Task Force remains to this day. Its most notable recent 'operation' was the senseless massacre of the Marikana miners - an operation planned, led, and executed by black police, who were more than happy to terrorise the black community on the bidding of the corrupt president-in-waiting. Will shed a tear for these victims? Or do they have the right skin colour to get a free pass? @@bonganimkhwanazi2081

    These robberies are easier to stop if the drivers knew how to drive. I live in South Africa almost 42 years now. They drive 2-3m away from another car. No travelling distance. This already sets you up for huge failure. How many times have I called G4S to tell them their back wheels are so underinflated that they are touching. Their driving leaves them zero options. Clearly the training is massively lacking. Research has also shown that many criminals in CIT are even degree qualified folk. One even had a masters. Security companies need to up their game - they are easy targets. Very sad for the guys driving these trucks.

    The very model of a peaceful crime free society whose opinion really carries weight when they demand things like action from the world and UN regarding Israel and Palestine. SA has one of the highest murder rates in the world.

      @youbrokeitwefixit1723 That is not true.
      Governments will do or say anything to shift the burden onto someone else. In your instance, the South African government blames outsiders, which is not accurate. But brainwashed citizens appear to believe this.
