I was at that school when Craig was, I really don’t remember all the bleeding. I never got the belt mind you. I saw people getting belted, none of them bled though. That place used to be rammed with pupils, crowd-asphyxiation was a genuine risk in the corridors between classes! I don’t remember being scared of most of the teachers.
I think its the same reason they said they were going to give cheryl cole subtitles on x factor usa before she got sacked... incase people can't understand
Did the headmaster actually say "I wouldnt go that far" when craig called some of his teachers attrative? well thats gonna be an awkward moment when they watch the taping together in the council xD
@PerthTowne What I meant in my statement was that We should be mad at ourselves for behaving in a way, as a country, that people form that opinion of us.
As another person said below as well, there's inequality in every country on Earth. I just find it weird that when he had to describe what they're studying about the US, the first word he thought of was inequality. I wasn't offended. I just thought it strange. The scenes with the kids are very funny though. I enjoyed them.
David Stewart Mainly Abronhill with some Greenfaulds High and a smattering of Our Lady's, the Red Fox Valley to the back of the school (now called Academy) was also used.
I do feel kinda sorry for the teacher and the students whose work they criticized. While there were some factual mistakes, they seems to point them out insensitively. I don't think they meant to be harsh or mean, but they could have been more tactful. But I do miss MCD. RIP
Why are they teaching political correctness to kids in Scotland? Can't they have their own culture without being forced to feel guilty for their skin color?
Modern studies = left wing communist propaganda aimed at division. Britain needs to fix its own house before twisting the minds of children about what America is. The racial divide was created by an extremely radical racist communist president call Obama. Before his presidency America was quite peaceful racially.
Inequality is a fact of reality. I'm more then a little bit disturbed that it's a focus in a school (Instead of history, science, mathematics). Even looking at aspects of cultures, i look at customs and traditions, not "inequality".
tbh we r getting taught the truth about the U S but it gets boring getting told all the stuff i thought it was a bit shocking how he was making fun of Scotland when he lived there him self and Mr Muir is not the best trust me i get shouted at every day of him for like fighting and stuff all he does is moan im sorry if this has hurt anyone like what i said about Craig but its the truth
Why the sarcasm--"land of the free, aye right son..." The same criticism you level at the US in your comment, could be applied to your country as well. Look, with all of the things there are about the United States' culture, history, natural environment, government that could have been said, the first word the student thought of was inequality? Sure, there's inequality here as there is elsewhere. But if that's the FIRST word they think of, I really wonder what is being taught that class.
That was funny but they kinda acted like Hollywood asses in that classroom, that is Not the place to make fun of student's work. The teacher didn't look happy

It's eerie to hear Michael Clark discuss Robin Williams.
Rest in peace, Michael.
I'm scottish and i'm laughing at the need of subtitles. lol
Lol
I lost it when I seen it man, can't blame them though haha. P.s. COYBIG!
RIP Michael you were brilliant in movies, a larger than life personality, we love you from Hong Kong.
That teacher did NOT seem amused. lol!
at 241 you can see her laughing
Aww Big Michael Clark Duncan was in Scotland and I didn't know :(
The fact that the students think of Inequality when they think of America in a Modern Studies class should bother us as Americans.
The headmaster seems like a good guy.
RIP Mr. Duncan
I have Scottish friends who experienced 'belting' in school before it was outlawed. It sounds horrifying.
That school room scene was like the funniest thing.
He he he. I knew Craig and his brother Scott. Willie Wyatt would have been "proud" (not) and the Darroch Way clan are probably still smiling wryly.
Always turns my crappy days around! Thanks Mal!!! And Craig :)
anyone else notice there's an American flag hanging up in the assembly room?
Some of you people need to learn to take things less seriously. Enjoy his entertainment ecstasy it is A plus plus
This is reallycool. And very nice.
"Black" is NOT a racist term in the US. Both black and African American are commonly used.
Thas my head teacher right now he's retiring in May x
The teacher's face when they pointed out the "Blacks" word was priceless! She looked guilty, haha.
God imagine if you were in that class
Thats my high school! But its shut and its being demolished because we have a new building
i wish Craig Ferguson would come to my school
They're working really well. They were just fugitives on the streets of Paris. This is rerally funny verite stuff!
I'm from glass cow.
the funny thing is the need for subtitles.
those 2 should make more outdoor shows on the streets together it'd be fun.
What is it with British schools and blue fences?
Alex Creed it's a Scottish school, and I go to it
Man, I fucking miss Michael Clarke Duncan
The headmaster giggles like craig! lol

LOL the teacher looks shocked when they talk about Black people voting for Obama
Modern Studies is a class where you only play Modern Warfare. there is a 10 year waiting list

Hahaha they talked about guns, pointed out blacks, and Craig said Hell in the class room... Thug life
I know what you mean. This is when people watched Slumdog Millionaire and thought they knew India.
It's not an asterisk. It's an asshole. XD

@PerthTowne What I meant in my statement was that We should be mad at ourselves for behaving in a way, as a country, that people form that opinion of us.
"is this based on the american model?"
"Oh no!"
LOL! hahah they know the american system is crappy :D
he really died...there wasn't a new episode of Craig last night. There will be tonight. MCD died of a heart attack. :(

Isn't that the same school Gregory's Girl was filmed or was that Abronhill
David Stewart Mainly Abronhill with some Greenfaulds High and a smattering of Our Lady's, the Red Fox Valley to the back of the school (now called Academy) was also used.

All righty then.
Why are the walls full of so much propaganda?
to comedically imply the accent is impossible to understand.
Modern studies = left wing communist propaganda aimed at division. Britain needs to fix its own house before twisting the minds of children about what America is. @vielsu and TH-cam.

Those high school girls are😍
Nothing new, it's what most colleges teach IN America, so knowing other places find a way to whine about us feels pretty welcoming, really.

Americans seriously lack a dense of humour ....all these serious comments from a country that voted Trump 🤣🤣🤣
