I had the plasma for my note 10+ and loved it. I was excited to see it available for the s21 ultra. Unfortunately the rubber around the camera module corner is too soft and it will barely stay on. It even stretched up over the screen while in my pocket. I can't speak for the other models but the plasma is not the case you want.
I have the Plasma case for my Note 4 and it's in perfect shape. I had my phone installed in it 4 months straight this year. I plan on getting a Plasma for my S21 Ultra. The Monarch is FIRE!
You failed to mention that the texture on the carbon version is very smooth & slippery. I've purchased one for my S21+ and didn't like how it slides around on my fingers when texting with both hands. So I ended up returning the carbon for the crimson red & the leatherette material made it less slippery.

All UAG cases makes s21 Ultra huge and bulky. You should try Speck Presidio Grip 2 case. Same level of protection, but much better grip, and not that thick
Informative review. Certainly nice cases and practical tough protection to sides and back. But like all these attach to the back cases the front glass is still vulnerable.

I'm considering either the Monarch or the Plasma for my S20 Ultra. I believe the ends are raised a bit but I'm concerned a bit about damage to the curved edge sides of the S20 Ultra. Does the lip extend any above the curved edge length of the phone?

I like the monarch case but it cost more that $80,00 in singapore ! But can use one only ! Very classy !

I always prefer a case but if you want to go with a more minimal appearance and protection, dbrand is fine.

is the pathfinder sitting flat on its back or is it wobbly because of the middle bump with the uag branding?
Pathfinder sits flat because the corners are raised to the same height as the middle part. Also, corners are rubberized so it doesn't slide around.
