The one thing I miss about these warped canons is that in New Super Mario Bros DS, The backgrounds will change indicating what world you’re about to head into, it was a really neat detail. But they don’t do that anymore in these NSMB games.
One of many reasons why New Super Mario Bros. on the DS is the best 2D Mario game.

If I remember, to get to World 8 in the fastest way possible, you only need to use the Warp Cannons in Worlds 1 & 5.

It is possible to finish the game using only the cannons?
Like: I use the cannon from world 1, then the one from world 5 and zero normally in world eight

Incomprehensible how all cannon levels uses the Overworld theme (would make sense for the cannons in Worlds 1 and 6) and that none of them leads to World 7

How do you record the game play
As far as I know, here are the statistics for the Warp Cannons in every New Super Mario Bros. game:
New Super Mario Bros.:
1. The World 1 and 2 Warp Cannons take you to World 5 (The World 5 background is kind of hard to see in the World 2 cannon). It can be accessed by finding the secret exits in World 1-Tower and World 2-A respectively.
2. The World 3 Warp Cannon takes you to World 6. It is accessed by finding the secret exit in World 3-Ghost House.
3. The World 4 Warp Cannon takes you to World 7 (It's the only Warp Cannon in the game without a background of the world you're heading into). Accessed by finding the secret exit in World 4-Ghost House.
4. The World 5 Warp Cannon takes you to World 8. Found through the secret exit in World 5-Ghost House.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii:
1. The World 1 and 2 Warp Cannons take you to World 5. Accessed through secret exits in World 1-3 and World 2-6 respectively.
2. The World 3 and 4 Warp Cannons take you to World 6. Accessed through secret exits in World 3-Ghost House and World 4-Tower respectively.
3. The World 5 and 6 Warp Cannons take you to World 8. Accessed through secret exits in World 5-Ghost House and World 6-6 respectively.
New Super Mario Bros. 2:
1. The World 1 Warp Cannon takes you to World Mushroom. It is found through the secret exit in World 1-Tower, just like the first game.
2. The World 3 Warp Cannon takes you to World Flower. Found by accessing the secret exit in World 3-Tower as Mini Mario.
3. The World Mushroom Warp Cannon takes you to World Flower. Unlocked by finding the secret exit in World Mushroom-Ghost House and then completing World Mushroom-B (Completing World Mushroom normally takes you to World 3).
4. The World Flower Warp Cannon takes you to World 6. Found through the secret exit in World Flower-1 and then completing World Flower-A. (Completing World Flower normally takes you to World 5).

I kind of like the ds’ version more. The backgrounds in those warp zone levels showed what worldd you were going to which was pretty cool looking. It also kept the signature music for the main levels in that version. Using the regular overworld theme is I’ll-fitting and repetitive.
I lost the disk for this game in just bought a new one and it arived i got 2 on my own but i forgot some coz its been years since ive played it
