One small advice for those who are watching the video and you are going there.
1. Get full research
2. Better to go with a guide
3. Roads are full of off roadings
4. Get permission and NLP from dc to visit cheifs place in mon village and other places.
Follow all this things to visit and tour freely, i have recently covered there from dibrugarh to longwa.

I am planning to go to longwa from Sonari by personal car. can we make ILP offline on spot? Is it mandatory?

In our case, no one checked our ILP. You can apply directly on their website. I have been in Nagaland four times, but no one checked ILP even single time.

The road from Nagaland border to Mon town is not in very good condition. Take care of it.
