I have lived in the UK for 21 years and never seen the house rocked up as you did that night!! I do mean this folks!! That includes, Carl Perkins, Bill Haley's Comets, Little Richard and so on! those were the only ones to fire up the joint. I truly enjoyed real talent from all of you! Please! come back! These guys came fairly close to blowing the rest of the lineup (Pokey LaFarge, CMA Song of the Year winner Larry Cordle, Country Music Hall of Famer Connie Smith and Rock'n'Roll Hall of Famer Wanda Jackson) out of the water at tonight's Mountain Stage taping at Bristol's Paramount Theatre! Listen for it the 1st weekend in November on National Public Radio.
Discovered this band by chance whilst listening to Radio2, we are exposed to so much dross nowadays that it's great to be reminded what live music should be about. Put a bloody big grin on my face, love it. Gonna watch for British tour dates.
Have enjoyed 'Signs and Signifiers' immensely! The discovery of the year! Thoroughly enjoyed 'live performance' in Dublin 2012--can't wait to see JD again in Gateshead, England in January 2013. Terrific!
