Fun fact that will shatter your heart Alicia: the opening song has the line "You can Smile Again" and we learned during the arc with Killua's family that he didn't smile much anymore before the Hunter Exam. And the line is almost always said with Killua on the screen.
18:35 Happy that Alicia got one of Gon's defining characteristics: he is a very good boy, but not a regular shounen good boy. His morality is very child-like, and he really only cares about people that have a connection to him. Using a stranger's life as bait for a serial killer? He doesn't bat an eye. Randos dying because they were stupid? It's sad, but that is just how life is. Killua murdered the mild mannered nice martial artist? Oh man, I wonder if Killua is okay, that was not like him at all.
Yep, well said. Though there's one other facet, which is he doesn't always act like that, if he's around someone he knows wouldn't approve of it; he's cognisant enough to tailor how he acts.
4:10 There's an old superstition that cameras could capture people's souls. A lot of people didn't want their picture taken when cameras were first invented and even when they were starting to get popular.
Im pretty sure this idea stems from the uncanny valley people first experienced when they were able to see them selves and the world exactly as it was when the picture was taken. Nowadays its so common place its lost that uncanny feeling.
4:52 You can either use Gyo to forcefully enhance your eyesight to physically see through their In, or you can put yourself in a state of Zetsu, which makes you extremely sensitive to Nen to the point you can sense it. Of course being in Zetsu makes you super vulnerable to a Nen attack, so it's not advised to do that in combat.
Thank you for remembering that he doesn’t want to kill anymore. 😊 and I personally believe Gon’s outlook on death is influenced by his childhood; watching animals hunt and eat (kill) each other might’ve helped him see death is part of life. After that his own beliefs fold in.
Camera capture light, aura has light (even if it's on a spectrum that's invisible to the normal eye), the only question is "are TV able to project that specific frequency even though it would be useless for normal people since they can't see it") and the answer is apparently "yes", although maybe the 200th floor has special TVs that emit in those frequencies for Nen users who want to examine the fights.
Training resumes! Ok that attempted kidnapping was cringe…that goodness for Killua! Karma has to pay those three creeps a very personal visit and it should not end well. Thank you Killua for teaching Sadaso the realities of breaking one’s word 😊
I think seeing Nen through the TV would depend on the camera. Like, if Nen gives off UV or Infrared light that the untrained eye can't see. But maybe the camera could pick it up and project it (still invisible), so someone using Nen could see it. Like, trying to tell what color someone is wearing on a black&white tv.
-Do not let this being the Fifty-fifth video asking for a DanMachi Reaction distract you from the fact that Bungee Gum has the properties of rubber and gum. -Reason for it, the amout of precious beans, intense moments, interesting fights, funny momets and waifus/husbandos its like the perfect concoction for her to react. -The babies are learning!!!!!
Seeing nen through the tv is kinda weird, but alternatively that would mean that techniques like the double wouldn’t be able to be seen either so fights in the tower between nen users would be like the ending of Fight Club where he looks like he fighting ghosts 😂 I feel like whether you can or can’t see nen on something like a recording, it’s going to have ridiculous implications 😅
I really wanted to warn alicia about Gon’s fight with Hisoka because of how incredibly sus it is, but I forgot that she binges these episodes and then posts them piece by piece
Well, Killua never said, that he doesn't want to kill anymore. He just said, that he doesn't want to work as an assasin and that's it. But he clearly enjoys killing, scaring and torturing his enemies
@@jacobb9236 he is tired of this as a job. Now he can finally enjoy it =3. Ripping out internal organs and watching them dieing painfully, slashing into pieces for bumping into him. And doing all of that with a sadistic smile. No, Killua is definitely not feeling guilty for his past. He just wants to move on and do fun things with his friends
@@koyar1Have you ever heard the term "Everything looks like a nail to a hammer"? Killua's been made into one of the best hammers in the world since he could walk, and he decided he doesn't want to be a hammer anymore. But everything still looks like nails to him at the moment.
@koyar1 I never said he feels guilty about it. He just doesn't want to do it anymore. Did you really pick one moment where he was agitated very early in the show and claim that's his whole character? If that was true he would have killed the 3 brothers later on in the exam.

It’s funny how Alicia mentions Wing’s teacher, I genuinely doubt most people could predict who taught Wing when it eventually comes up again.
I'm pretty sure even Togashi didn't know who his master was going to be at this point lol
I love Wings master! They’re so… strong!
@@professorpantherhardraad3921 Not since Yoda have I seen such Gremlin energy in a teacher.
A Nen conductor could make quite a striking Melody.
Thanks for this.
The way I laughed. 😂

Samanuske(sp?) from Rurouni Kenshin comes to mind there.

Man, Killua threatening Sadaso is peak Zoldyck energy. He's so scary. I love it.
abzu never beating the pre-watch allegations lmfao.
he's too megabrained
“Oh no! Their after his Jordons!”
23:41 1999 version killua was more terrifying checkout later
Generally 99 was a tone thing, but there's are a few scenes, like Kurapika in the rain, where they are just worlds apart.

you know there is a place to recommend anime and also a redeem system right? All that info is in the discord

Alicia wanting to learn about Wing's master. She is greedy.
No spoilers!
Big gremlin energy
I usually hate these types of comments but that was a good one, ngl xd

Pfff yeah I rewatched it yesterday and well. It Is So….
Once again i ask for Madoka Magica ✨
to be fair, with a face like that he couldn't avoid being snakey. Like, if you see that face& don't expect some snake shit, that's on you
This is the best anime ending song ever
Alicia totally missed the knife coming down and the image after. T_T
editoooooor happy to see you
Hisoka's nen is pink colour that means it emits light so camera should be able to capture it as well
What no
@@snipersougo13 how else then ?
Nen is part of the light spectrum that usually only lobsters can see.
You realize the colors are mostly for the audience, right? I don't think anybody in the show ever comments on the color of an aura, just how it feels.
@@mranonymous00 it's a Power that doesn't exist irl.

Seconded
Day 1 agreeing to this
Yeah keep asking in TH-cam comments she’ll do it one day lol, smartest slime fan.
Brother thank you, I also wanted to ask for this but u already got my hands tied with asking for another anime 😂
She gonna be cosplaying Shion for sure
I’m actually kinda sad that we don’t get to see Sadaso fight. I wanna know if he’s actually strong or not.
the fact he ran off with his tail between his legs should answer that question.
Wings master is introduced later and is a total badass you will never see coming xD
Postcard to posterity. Figure that shit out.
Day 32 of asking for Moriarty the Patriot reactions
Camera's picking up Nen energy didn't make much sense to me either 🤔
Day 230 of asking Alicia to play Nier:Automata!!
I really enjoy these reactions but when I hear the sound of people eating I want to rip my own ears off. 🙃

Day 1 of asking Alicia to react to TFS's Dragon Ball Abridged.
I prefer to watch anime in sub, but the dub version of Killua threatening Sadaso in this episode is better in my opinion.
