YOU'RE THE DEATH GRIPS GUY. THE ON GP GUY. I love how you continued the story but on the other music video instead of the one you already commented on so everyones kind of still wondering about that Asian girl.
I mean, it's the inevitable conclusion after viewing this video. hot damn they play well together.. like.. to the point that I'm almost offended by how casually this drummer slays with that percussion like it ain't no thang... jfc...
Shades of late 70's-early 80's prog (Fripp and Crimson and Rabin-era Yes) on especially the second and third songs, mixed improbably (and ingeniously) with LA-style psych rock . I want to see them live!
well.. as it currently stands.. this is the closest anyone has come to describing this band.. gonna have to use this when folks ask "huh? what genre are they.." .. so in 2nd place now we have "well.. shesh.. post-punk psychedelic 2-step jam band..? fucking hell just go to their show, trust me.."
I'd like to offer up a slight condensed variation, if it pleases the court..? "If Toad from Mario surprised the Mushroom Kingdom by unexpectedly doing a free concert in Wailing Woods.. finally answering his dancing Kingdom friends questions of what Toad does in his down-time at the Item Shops.. He was perfecting his sound.. for this groovin moment.." okay nevermind guys.. that didn't end up condensing a damn thing.. sorry bout it.
Unique. Interesting stuff coming out of the violin. She has a nice voice- it would be valued to hear her sing more than talk in songs. Do the guys sing? Thank You.
If you're going to make up a term like "interdimensional textures", you're going to have to explain a little more. I'm normally a fan of the Audiotree because I never see any pretend-intellectualism, but wow that stuck out at me.
I dont think its about pretend-intellectualism. Its just a way to describe the music. These guys have a pretty unique sound and they need to somewhat describe the band, and if they went with interdimensional textures, as weird as that sounds, i think it does the job of describing their sound and their ethos

Wow I just found them today. I feel this band is like every genre of music starting 1980 to 2055
they are from the future, which is why most people haven't heard of them I reckon.
They feel a bit Talking Heads to me ...
Perfect observation.
Found em just today! And yes, WOW!
Go see them live if you can, they're great. Saw em in DC.
saw them in pittsburgh recently, best live show i've seen in a while
i ran the merch table there 😂
Oh hey it’s you

These guys make my back hairier and my soul fuzzier. Funky alien vibes 11/10
See this band live.

Got hyped when the violin came out
Betty dreams of green men sounds so good
With Paul Giamatti on keyboards
and Justin Kirk on bass (Justin Kirk=Andy from weeds)
...dammit I was gonna say that!!...
this band is unbelievably rad. catch them while they're on the road!!!!
UNDERRATED. Love the sound of this band. Pretty unapologetically weird and dissonant but lotsa fun.
highly underrated band
Imagine the sheet music for this
no thanks
Imagine someone like Mozart saw the sheet music for this.
its covered in acid probably
Genre: Guerilla Toss
Ur giving them 2 much credit and exposing urself
Appropriately disturbed, shaken and stirred, that of which i have yearned.
Saw them at the Boston Paradise rock club with Tauk. Awesome music and her voice is A++. Must see live.
I like how everybody in this band apparently looks like someone else, according to the comments at least
Hearing Betty Dreams of Green Men performed so slowly is breaking my brain right now
saw them last night...incredible show, such an underrated band!
Amazing music and great work from Audiotree
Just caught their gig in Berlin and it was.. astonishing!!!
I'll say that they play stuff that cant be described with one readily accessible word. For that they get props.
jagget mordu Try 'dope'. 'Sick' would also be acceptable (in the positive sense, of course), or 'badass', but only if you spell it like that.
Well someone else commented unapologetically wierd... that fits
Can’t wait to see this guys in the UK next month! One of my all time favourite bands 💞
What a great band
Magnifico...
Where's Watley?
Go see them live! Killed it in Philly
Gotta say I was not expecting her to bust out the violin

Da future. People discovering being in a band isn't exclusive and they can get out there and make art.
Man, llegué aquí buscando oro y me encontré con diamantes. Esta banda me encanta
tru
Come Up With Me reminds me of Love Will Tear Us Apart and Take On Me in some way
I watch this video one time per year) Hi from Moscow
whaaaat is going on
I absolutely love her. Reminds me of Solex with some Dan Deacon/ Eno.
Colorada falopera, Buena musica !
Love you guys so much!!!
best band evr
+1

Love 'em!
the biggest flex is that the drummer peter taught me how to play the drums
What'd he say?!!
Sounds like *D M T*
i wonder if they like the cardiacs
underrated band.
The drummer looks like Nick Reinhart, he just needs more pedals.
Imagine Brian Chippendale with all of Nicks pedals
If Toad from Mario made music on psychedelics.
he's a shroom, ain't he already a psychedelic?

i kinda want simon to come back but like this is cool 2
the first song sounds like ariel pink collaborated with the pixies
These guys used to just be straight up noise. Glad to see them create some stuff with structure.
Gosto muinto desse canal, muinto bom mesmo
It's hipster Frank Zappa! And I love it.
Man I'm pissed I didn't go this show now. 😐
Do they have a Microwave XTK?
sevdim
This sounds pretty good...but I was ready for them to bust into some Missing Persons! That would have been cool!
Weirder than primus.
So tite

jesus christ this is terrible and that’s coming from someone who voluntarily listens to power electronics

Learn to appreciate Devo and noise rock and then you'll appreciate this.

If anyone has inter dimensional textures going on it’s definitely this band!🤟🤟🍌
