But logically, if you want to have Smurf as your main tank there is no doubt in my mind that Choi, Striker and Viol2t would also be picked. For the same reason if you really wanted Void as your off tank there is no argument for not picking Fearless, Fleta, LIP, Izayaki etc. because team synergy is more valuable than just having the best players at each position. I would not want to be held responsible for picking out this team lol.
With a 9 team tournament you don't give a single team a bye round (or else you run into the issue of having 5 teams in the next round). You make 2 teams play in a play-in game before the quarters.
