- In this video I show you our collection of fine porcelain sugars and creamers. We have aquired some representations from England, Germany, and Japan. We are showing you today a collection that started over 20 years ago. Some of the examples of our sugars and creamers we have are part of a larger set and the rest are pairs that we love on their own. You might remember our teapot and chocolate pot and teacup collection videos made a couple months back and the link is below if you are interested. We have many collections, we love to collect and this collection consists of some pieces that were passed down also to me through the generations. We have built on this collection over the years to what you see now. Hi ya Jeff . I just got my nans cream and sugars down . You forget how pretty they are . I also have a tiny set mum used say they are a morning tray set , breakfast in bed on a tray for one but it's so delicate I keep it in the glass cabinet . My great aunt worked as a house keeper at a doctors in the house across from us in England a huge manor house . That was one of the things they gave her when she left to get married in 1918 . Hi Jeff, that paper thin first set with the lilacs or violets was by far my favorite. I am of German descent with a German last name so I really liked all the German china sugar and creamers. Don't get me wrong, if someone dropped a service for 12 of that gorgeous Johnson Bros Tulip Time china on my doorstep I sure would feel like it was Christmas in September LOL. The Austrian and Bavarian sets are out of this world! I collect Bavarian porcelain called Vienna White by Seltmann. It also has an adorable creamer and covered sugar bowl that is small. I'm not sure of it's age though.

Jeff: I think one reason the sug/creamers got bigger isn't necessarily because the families got bigger, because the families could be quite large in Victorian times. I think they got bigger 'cuz Mama got tired of having to get up and refill them so often! Especially when sugar became less expensive.

Oh jeff I love the sec set of angela than the 4th of fruit but jeff you keep going the pink rose and blue are beauiful and the song bird than you bring out love the yellow rose than you keep it going I think I got something in royal halbert than you put out another the next beauiful sweet velvet and you still going Johnson brothers now you keep going bone China pink now you bring out more man you so lucky and the pink blossom if that was mine I get a china cabinet and no one would touch ,,yes I loved it all. Jeff I believe what Christmas stands for and I know God hurt when he gave his son up to die for me,but I never liked to decorate for any season sent I was a little girl but I just always spent the holidays with my husband's parents and with mine now I lost to much on both sides last Christmas I had surgery and couldn't do anything so I say God only knows this year,but I will tell you I watch all the hallmark Christmas movies,so I'm not giving everything up ,but tell you what you just decorate this year with all the spender that you can do and I will love it all,so Merry Christmas to you,Angela and family from my house to yours and I mean that in a good way,and yes I do have a few Christmas dishes and I had gave a lot away .love

I found plates, small bowls and saucers at Goodwill for 99cents each. I was about to buy it but a lady grab it from me. How rude! I was so upset that day😔
They would not have done that to me ....park your shopping cart in the way while your looking so they can't do it to you ! Get loud too ....people will shy right down over it .. These are not "cute", they are wonderfully elegant! I have 13-1/2 demitasse sets and I love them. I have never collected the larger size because I display the smaller ones with my tea cups.
