I feel like i want it to be canon that freddy has conforted Roxy B4 in other sad situations for her, based on the fact she isnt mad that freddy walked in, just more like i rather be alone this time.

Yeah, Its almost as if they're... Human, In a Sense, seeing as how all their movements are more fluid than the Original Series of Animatronics before them
I think the only reason Freddy doesn't attack us is because of safety mode which gets activated when he falls off the stage before the events of security breach, and he doesn't hesitate to attack us if we're still inside of him when his battery dies so I guess safety mode gets turned off if his batteries die
so basically they do have personalities and really realistic ones at that

@@Naif_Alzahrani it's not really hinted at these ones are being haunted like the previous ones but they do seem to be hijacked to be used by vanny. It just seems like these ones are the most advanced animatronics we have so far in the franchise.

I'm pretty surprised on how much depth Roxy has in the game which really makes her all the more tragic. It's bad enough she's controlled against her will by Vanny but it's another to see her in this state while now knowing on how she suffers greatly from insecurities which makes what happens to her later on actually heartbreaking. I wish we would've seen something similar with Mounty and Glamrock chica but hopefully future DLC can provide us with that.
I agree, just some extra interactions to help flush out some of the characters. Like a scripted event where while traveling inside Freddy, we come across Chica hunched over a garbage can eating trash. Freddy, concerned for his friend, pleads with her to stop cause she's damage her internal parts. Between mouth-fulls of trash, Chica apologies, sobbing that she doesn't understand what's wrong with her but she can't control herself. Freddy and Gregory leave with Freddy promising to himself that once he gets Gregory to safety, he will come back and help his friends.
I'd like for the future DLC (if we get one) to let us find out what happened to Bonnie and why he no longer is in the Pizzaplex because out of all the character in the FNAF games I like Bonnie the most and Freddy comes in at second
I’d love DLC where there Is an even better ending where the entire gang can be spared rather than just Freddy. Like you find a way to break Vanny’s hold on them.

Edit: I seemed to have caused some confusion 😂 when I said “aren’t just possessed robots” I was referring to the previous animatronics from the other games, I know these ones aren’t possessed (at least, not that we’re aware of)

Sad theory: when Roxanne says "You're nothing" as one of her voice lines, she's actually talking about herself, not Gregory. My evidence is that she talks in 2nd(?) person, eg. "You're the best" "you're going to find him first" "You're everybody's favorite", and I'm like 90% sure she only says that after 3 or 4 am when she's already failed to catch Gregory

I really like the theory about two souls/minds, but to me the theory that she has only one and talks with it sounds more interesting. It would be amazing if for the first time (as far as I can remember) an animatronic were aware of this. Besides, how nice it would be if a soul were inside her encouraging and supporting her when she doubts herself, basically what any child would do when they see that someone they care about is sad.

@@judefelicien4295 Yes, this can be true. Or maybe it depends on the situation, as no one has just one feeling all the time. There is a moment when Roxanne says "we'll get him" (or something like that) and the choice to say "we" instead of "I" is very interesting. I can't say why yet, but I don't think she's referring to the animatronics/robots/guards group.

I really like Roxanne and I feel bad when she got blind. Compared to the other two, I feel like she has more personality, Chica just wants to eat and Monty is just angry (I like Monty tho).

The fact that they can cry shows that they're not just an empty shell with artificial intelligence but they actually have personalities and emotions, and they can actually talk, I haven't seen the other FNAF games in a while but I've only heard a few animatronics talk and they're mostly from Sister Location.

The whole _’we_ should’ve found him’ thing really brought up red flags in my mind, plus how different her voice sounds between saying “Who’s there?” and “Don’t get distracted!”

Remember Fnaf VR and the weird emails? Roxy might be having a 'nice chat' with Glitchtrap. He did use VR to try and highjack the nightguard so being able to manipulate AI especially would be easy.

The animatronics actually seem to try and lure out 'different kind of kids', since they dont know what kind of child gregory is.
Roxy is focussing more on a competitive kid, saying things like that are meant to get a reaction, to challenge the kid.
Monty constantly says things like 'little guy' and stuff, which are often heard by coaches and older brother (i think. I dont have one, that's just what i've been told. feel free to correct that.) makes him seem a little more approachable (like a friend of some sorts, not too close but also not constantly challenging. A middle ground).
Chica is playing the guilt and care card. She's constantly saying things about Gregory's family being worried and talks about his friends.
I agree but I also think it also the type of attitude they try to bring out of the kid that match their attitude or problem (if that makes sense) Roxy is is competitive like you said so she wants the kid to challenge her for to win kinda like she always needs to prove she the best. I think when Monty calls him little guy it’s to make the child angry or riled up it sounds friendly but Monty has anger problems and those phrases can get someone riled up it like he taunting him. With Chica I’m not too sure what her backstory/ problem is but I also agree with u on her playing the guilt card ….. but yeah that’s what I was thinking when I was watching some gameplays of this😅
Yeah, I genuinely feel like Roxanne has some sort of Superiority complex, or like some second rate anxiety cause she does not feel confident with herself at all. Having to keep giving herself pep talks to pull herself together with just about everything, I don't know I just can't shake the feeling. Even at the beginning of the game her responses to her pep talk weren't confident, almost half fleeting like she didn't believe herself. That genuinely makes me feel horrible for her
no one realized how advanced the ai in the suits are and she's probably called cool but not as cool as the others. That already hurt when she was just an AI but when whatever warped their programming happened, it exaggerated her superiority complex.
think about it from a in universe point of view to though, like, shes a replacement for foxy. and obviously, the kids who come to the pizzaplex know that, hell, there is a thing with foxy and his ship not to far from her room if i remember right, and its mentioned in a messege that kids still ask about bonnie despite him being replaced by montgomery, so, that anxiety and constant need to give herself pep talks even if she doesn't belive them makes sense. imagine being created and trying so hard to be what people wanted and to be your own "person" but to be constantly hit with "where's foxy? he's my favorite"
and then just a little thing you could tack onto that, remember that a few of her lines are like "I bet i'm your favorite~" and depressed, potentially self directed "no one will remember you."'s
You could also say that the same thing is going on with monty, only, rather than falling to insecurity like roxy does, he falls to anger, and puts on a charade of "Look! I'm better than bonnie ever was!!"
it probbly doesn't help much that even freddy will display how he misses bonnie, dialoge confirms it if you bring him to the stage in the bowling ally, so not is it just kids asking about and missing/prefering bon but its his "elder" animatronics to.

Roxanne is my favorite because of how complex she is compared to the others. Don't get me wrong, Monty's great and finally a version of Chica gets some justice and of course Freddy is the best dad- but Roxanne is different. Yeah, she's an arrogant bitch 90% of the time you see her, but she seems to have some insecurities- probably trying to say how she's the best because maybe she's not as liked in the Pizzaplex with the kids like the others. She wants to be loved and wants to do her best- so it only makes sense that once she starts losing at finding Gregory- she starts to feel extremely insecure and thinks she's the worst
I really wish we could of save Roxy and the like instead of having to kill them off like we do

Hi, as someone with osdd1b, _please_ don't call it a "split personality." Multiplicity occurs when in childhood, there is not a safe or stable enough environment for the different aspects of a child's personality to form into one cohesive identity. For their safety, these different aspects form into "alters" thar all carry and hold specific jobs/functions within the system. Dissociative identity disorder (which used to be called Multiple Personality Disorder before it was better understood) is a trauma disorder, which means that only people who have suffered significant, repeated abuse over their entire childhood can develop it.
I know that people aren't ill-intentioned when using our disorder as a Good side vs Evil side trope, but we as a community are so tired of our only "representation" being bloodthirsty killers. Please, before making or supporting a headcanon about a mental illness, think of the mentally ill people you're impacting, and whether or not you're perpetuating harmful stereotypes and misinformation that causes uncomfortable situations and pain for those people.

My sister actually pointed out that she seems to have extremely low self confidence, thus why she always encourages herself, constantly talks about her looks, and talks down to Gregory. And in the end when certain spoiler events occur, she cries because there is nothing left to pride herself on.
That, and presumably because she's in immense pain after you know what happens.

I feel bad for Roxanne, it seems like she has two personalities.
“Who’s there” has a more high pitched, scared tune while her, “It’s nothing. Don’t get distracted” has a more aggressive and confident tone.
You can notice how she continuously calls herself a loser at times then try to boost her confidence by telling herself she’s the best and all. It’s like Vanny is trying to manipulate her by using emotion manipulation.
She has the most complex personality, she attracted me the most, hope to see more of her soon.
More like it is Afton/Glitchtrap who also controls Vanny/Vanessa controlling her and the rest.

I struggle with pretty bad anxiety and insecurity and for me I felt like she was a pretty accurate representation of how it feels to try to crawl myself out of the self deprecating whole. I related to her a lot because on one hand I do feel like I’m the looser and I beat myself up when I feel like I can’t do a task I feel should be easy. “pull yourself together and get out there” is something I feel and tell myself a lot. “Shut up you’re being dramatic” or “ why can’t I do this” or “why is this happening” is something I find myself repeating a lot to myself. It’s not that I think I’m better than others, but it’s the having to overcompensate to pull myself out of a moment at times that I say the “oh I’m the best” “you’re doing so great” even if what I’m doing in the moment is subpar but trying to give credit for the bare minimum. I love her character and I really wish we got to see more development from her. But then again it is a game and that’s more about the story itself than the individual personalities. I guess I just hoped she got a happy ending like I want to be happy with myself haha.

Yeah, I really like Roxy's character and I really hope that in a DLC they'll give her along with the other animatronics a happy ending. I found her to be the best designed character and I hope that there'll be a lot more to her in any future updates if possible

I'll be honest, Roxy and Freddy easily are my favorites in this game. Freddy cuz he is an absolutely amazing protector boy. Roxy cuz she seems to have genuine feelings of insecurity. That in of itself is some impressive AI in her.
This scene is a nice touch and adds so much to the character dynamic between the animatronics. Imagine if we got more. I'd love to have cutscenes between Freddy and Chica or Monty like we got with Vanessa, maybe even a few from the pov of the suit

Plus since Springtrap was still actively possessed by Afton's soul, while also a fragment of his soul being Glitchtrap controlling Vanny's body. *He did it with the funtimes, so a circuit board from his suit did the same*
It stands to reason Vanny used parts she salvaged from the robots underneath the PizzaPlex, i.e The Pizza Sim Trap, and installed them into the new robots.
It was even implied that the endoskeletons were switched out.
Hence you being correct, they aren't possessed.. Just partially possessed, merging advanced AI with souls to make them even more popular.
All part of afton's plan.

Roxanne intrigued me the most in the trailer. Now she’s my favorite animatronic character in FNAF series
Before hearing one of the secrets, Roxy's personality split seemed to come from the pressure of being on stage, much like a human; however, after hearing THAT secret (together with Freddy's words in one of the endings), it would seem that the split would have the same root cause as the rest of the "erratic behaviours".
MatPat will probably make 2-3 videos to even scrap the surface of the issue, though.
Matpat will make videos on this for the next three years. I can't wait for the video where he spends twenty minutes explaining that the retro-80's aesthetic of the Pizzaplex is actually a metaphor for the dichotomy of man, or some other ridiculously overblown filler.
@@morteskellington9047 I mean, that IS sort of one way he could put it (especially if you take in Sun/Moon). This game takes place in, what? 2023? The people who were kids in the 80s would have kids of their own by then. What better way to get parents to spend money than nostalgia or even full-blown regression, all so that their kids could experience a bit of 1980s music. At the same time, the 80s had problems that nobody wants to go back to, like the ending stages of the Cold War. You want the past, yet you don’t. And a corporation like Fazbear Entertainment exploits that feeling for profit.

I was expecting for the other animatronics to gain consciousness about the real situation to help Freddy and the kid, however it would break the reason why it was called a horror game in the first place but I would love them to see hanging out around the Plex a gang after a long day of performing

actually conquering a horror game is an interesting premise, like freddy is an ally and he still has ways of causing jumpscares. Like the jumpscares are failures or the results of unexpected, for the player, results. Like saving the other animatronics and Vanny could be an interesting premise, and they could be the only major ones still the trick is they are more difficult to "recruit" and help than freddy was, something about freddy's AI basically caused him to dodge the hacking.

When the game was announced I thought you would get to get to pilot each animatronic. A kinda puzzle and horror game. Free each animatronic and gain new abilities with each of them and finally become the hunter for once.
The animatronics are like teens with Roxy saying "Freddy get out of my room!" And I think thats adorable btw and I can see Vanessa having a mug that says "best animatronic mom of the year" on it
If they had a DLC to save her I would play it. No questions asked.

I really love moments like this. It really takes the characters from just saying " these are my friends! " almost as if it's a programmed relationship with no depth, to people who genuinely love and care for eachother. This is how bestfriends, even siblings talk to each other. it's great
This any many more things show how the animatronics still have emotions. If you go to Bonnie's restaurant thingy Freddy has a unique dialog. He says "I haven't gone up here since he left, I miss him." This and Roxy crying shows that the animatronics aren't heartless robots but have real emotions.
The endings make me so sad because they seem like they are close

@@justanormalusername6870 We have no confirmation that the animatronics are the ones doing the kidnapping. This isn't a Circus Baby incident and they were not made by Afton since he's dead. Like Glam Freddy said, his belly is for oversized birthday cakes and pinatas and since we can see the inside of his belly it doesn't appear to have anything to grab and drag a child into. There is a message that talks about the animatronics acting weird after getting upgraded which is probably parts Glitchtrap infected since the Gator was kind and is now aggressive, Roxy now talks to others behind walls and Chica, might have always eaten garbage but now her singing voice screws up animatronics. The animatronics never leave the building unsupervised so Vanny could have picked out and isolated the missing children since (most) kids will not think a security guard who is there for their safety would harm them.

Oh finally I hear them acknowledge Freddy. It bothered me a lot that they don't talk to Freddy while they're roaming, like banter, asking if he saw Gregory, or how Gregory always mysteriously disappears whenever Freddy runs into the area etc.
They don't seem to talk to each other when they're roaming around in general. Like finding gregory is what they're hyper focused on, not even caring who's around them
they should make it so that when u enter roxy's room with freddy you can comfort her 😥
That's really interesting I've never played this game yet but I kind of find it really interesting to see scenes to have hidden dialogue in the game it kind of makes you want to look back twice when you're interacting with these characters in Pacific situations in the game I'm really curious to see more hidden dialogue and Easter eggs that players haven't seen yet

That might just be her reassuring herself, if you hear her dialogue it actually sounds like two different people, like she says " *WE* should've found him..." she could be talking about her and the others (Monty and Chica) but then there's also times when she said things that seem completely out of character for her when compared to what she normally says, there's a voice usually confident and quite narcissistic, but then there's another voice that says things like "Hey kid *we* are trying to help!" which sounds like she's actually trying to help you rather than, well, kill you. So she could be maybe a bit of a narcissist, but it's not her whole personality.

Guys, I'm pretty sure Roxanne doesn't have two souls and that NONE of the robots are possessed, they're just an EXTREMELY ADVANCED form of A.I. The reason she seems bipolar and goes from "We're only trying to help" to "Sneak away you little coward!" is simply because she's become narcissistic after her eyes got upgraded so that she'd always win races. It got to her head and the A.I. gave her that messed up personality, so she tries to convince herself that it's never her fault. Plus, the way she says she's only trying to help is most likely a mocking bait so that Gregory stops fleeing.

I did this on accident and I scared her and she yelled at me. The fact they can cry say a lot about how far the AI in the game lore has come.
I have my own theory that all the animatronics are supposed to represent Vanessa/Vanny.
- Freddy is the good side of Vanessa that isn't controlled by Glitchtrap/William. He's loving and caring and don't want to hurt anybody. But in the end, he doesn't really have the choice sometimes.
- Roxanne is Vanessa having a split personality. Or maybe her not controlled by William and her controlled by William. Maybe she represent repressed feelings Vanessa has.
- Chica represent her love for food. I find it strange that Chica is always eating and the lines "you're family is looking for you" and "who wants candies?". Like we know Vanessa have a thing going with candies because of her therapy sessions and she has family problems.
- Monty is just the representation on how cruel and destructive Vanny is. Killing children, wanting to resurect William, maybe having anger issues?
She’s a very smart robot tho, the woman knows what she wants

Tbh, I think Roxy got it the worst, hit by a car, eyes torn out while still "alive" and then shortly after set on fire and doomed to walk around blind and burnt, and the fact that she shows so much more emotion and personality than Chica and Monty really just adds to the guilt ya know. Like, when the thing that you just ran over and tore the eyes out of starts to cry and ask you why, you can't help but feel a bit bad.
I wish devs added an option to get animatronics back under control instead of just destroying them

I wish they added an ending whete we all spared these animatronics (including Vannesa being freed)
There’s a ending where Vannessa is saved but in all endings at least 2 of the animatronics get destroyed… well “busted up” is more accurate

Entonces... Si tomamos eso en cuenta se podría decir que Roxan es la única que tiene ese fallo por lo cual al verse al espejo posiblemente haya creado una personalidad doble y corrupta. A lo cual nos hace sentido del por qué a diferencia de otros animatronicos ella tiene emociones más marcadas y el por qué es insegura
It's sad seeing her cry and lose and being destroyed. Roxanne Wolf is indeed my favorite of The Glamrock Animatronics, and is my new favorite FNAF Animatronic, She really is the best! It was also cool seeing and hearing her talk to herself about how cool she is in the beginning of the game.
This is exactly what I wanted in this game, for the robots to have character. It would've been nice to see these robots before they lose control of themselves, see how they usually are. Imagine Roxy written to fan girl over foxy, sounds like something kids would love
The emotion that the animatronics feel makes me feel like they are people. Roxy crying is a good example, but so is one on Freddy’s possible lines. “I don’t come up here anymore. I miss him.” In reference to going to our bunny friend’s bowling alley with Freddy.
Maybe that's why she says " Your the best , you'll find him first , because her other personality Is saying that she will find Gregory first cause she's the better then the others
A robot can't develop such a deep feeling like a depression episode, even for the most advanced robots, they can't do that, Freddy says in one ending
"My friends are here, they are angry and confused, and I'm not me"
I hope the developers add more dialogue for interactions between the characters. Like how about some voice lines when ever the other animations run into him while we are hiding? They could be stuff like "Freddy, did you see the kid? He was just here a second ago!"
It would be really awesome to be able to calm Roxy down and fix her up and perhaps even have her as a secondary companion that can communicate with freddy based off of location,scenario,interaction and a wide variety of questions and answers but with occasional questions and answers also based off of the selections.
Roxanne's eyes are not needed for anything outside of finding prizes,bags of lore and the cd's with lore on them.
Fighting Roxanne is optional but not necessary.

Roxanne was my favorite even before the release of the game, and now I love her even more, she has insecurities, and covers them up with false confidence, in my opinion, she's the most 'Human-like' of the animatronics.
It really bothered me when i heard people saying her in the begining was cocky when shevwas doing her affirmations. Maybe its cus i noticed her insecurity but its definitely her trying to give herself positive reinforcement. Plus people havent talked about her what appears to be a schizophrenia of sorts.
To be honest I feel sorry for her and would have given her a hug.
Roxy and Freddy's interaction gives me so much sibling energy. I love it.

Roxy is very tragic animatronics of them all. All of her doing is be at her very best at what she is doing. She is just depressed after she failed at the jobs. Plus the fact that she getting hit by a bumper car and got her eyes stolen. I think the most Villains one of them all is Gregory. I mean seriously, even Freddy cares other animatronics and not willing to hurt any animatronics especially his bands. Even Freddy was terrified when he realized that the new eyes that Gregory is upgrading him is Roxy’s Eyes. I’m quite disappointed when Freddy didn’t turns against Gregory when he realized that Gregory put these parts into him. I mean, that would be a cool ending and a built up “Villain” but I guess Afton is fine…
Bow for her pretty much talking to herself thingy my theory is that Roxy is not been control by 1 person, basically she got two souls inside of her. The scared Roxy and the Cocky Roxy… that’s why she is crying and the other souls tries to comfort the other.

Her vocal tone changes while she's comforting herself. I know people have their theories and I have an idea as to what's going on. 'I'm not a loser. Why? Why?' has that crying tone to it, but the very next line is said with absolutely zero 'tears' and more aggressively. 'It's not your fault. That kid's just lucky.' and again it shifts to much much softer and maybe even a hint of her having previously been crying 'We should have found him by now.'
I personally think it's highly possible it's two souls because in every game there are always 5 or 6 children that go missing and end up in the animatronics. There are only four animatronics in this new generation so it's possible that two souls could have been put into Roxy, especially considering Roxy is one of the animatonics with more personality other than Freddy. It might be literal, she has two.

Roxanne was always my favorite. Part of (at least I think) the reason she acts so disgraced is because it's mentioned in the game, if you find the message from one of the collectibles, that she's programmed to think of herself as the best. When she feels any kind of failure, she doubles down on herself instead of anyone else, because she's supposed to be "the best," and you can hear her making statements like it when she's in the area. "I'm the best!" "You don't have any friends do you" "No one is better than me!" "I'm your favorite!"
Even in her "decommission" sequence, (sorry for spoilers if you haven't played it) she, as also mentioned in another message you can find, "never misses a race," and she's programmed to be better than any other racer so she always wins, and her circuits get messed up trying to be there for every race and being the "best", so even when you try to play the Roxy Raceway, she's there for the "race" and it gets her mangled up. When she loses her eyes after the decommission, you can hear how distraught and clearly upset she is because she's not "perfect" anymore, she cries a lot even when trying to find you, chase you and she cries when she misses a lunge, catch, etc. That's why she's so hard on herself, because she's programmed to be "perfect."
I always felt so bad for her, but she was my absolute favorite out of the whole "Glam" crew because she just wanted to be the best she could, because, unfortunately, she was programmed that way.
