Ugh I felt this one. What we don’t realize is that our bodies will always let us know when we need to slow down. It’s been a crazy week for me too - felt super tired and emotionally exhausted. I’m finding that showing myself grace during those moments is the best remedy. We can be so hard on ourselves (ie feeling the urge to heal or feel better right away) and it takes our attention away from the strides we’ve already made. You’ve been my fave TH-camr to watch the last 2 years and your videos have always made me feel less alone especially during your healing journey. girlfriend, ik this has been going around on social media a lot but this saying is the truth ---> healing is not linear. there will always be ebbs and flows, especially when an experience/trauma (i.e., a breakup) is still relatively fresh. ik it's easier said than done but do NOT be hard on yourself. you can't. you're still here for a reason bc God wants you here to fulfill a beautiful purpose, whatever that may be. Life is never promised to be easy but He does not allow us to go through things we cannot handle. So, in these moments, yes, life sucks really freaking bad or worse- we may want to just give up completely, however, take it from me and/or others who continue on despite hurdles... it does get better. you just have to do your best (not be perfect) and have faith/trust that on the other side of grief, anxiousness, doubt, hurt, trauma, etc. is what you're longing for/desire (joy, peace, the removal of disappointment, etc. whatever). you have to keep pushing to see it though, although it's not promised to feel good all the time. if it is worth it to you to obtain you're deepest internal desires, you can absolutely get it. it definitely starts with being kind and positive to yourself & most importantly being patient and believing goodness will come even when you are exhausted. turn to God to hand Him all your burdens and worries, He wants to take them off you. I am praying for healing upon you as I know God is already doing and most importantly relief from exhaustion, ik that feeling but I can say it will pass~ "this too shall pass." I am sorry that you have to feel the exhaustion, virtual hugs and kisses
