አቲ ትምሃሮ ቀልቲፍካ ኢኻ ትሕዞን፣ ከዋሚ፣ ዘይርሳዕ ክኸውን ኢዩ።

Listen to Radio (public radio, music)
ራድዮ ምስማዕ፣ ብፍላይ ኣብ ዜናን ትምህርትን ዘድህብ መደባት።
እንዳ ዘወርኩ ወይ ኣብ ኣውቶቡስ ከለኹ ናይ ፓብሊክ (ህዝባዊ መንግስታዊ) ራድዮ ኢየ ዝሰምዕ። ንኣብነት፣ ናይ ዝቕመጠላ ዘለኹ ከተማ፣ ቺካጎ ፓብሊክ ራድዮ፣ __ ኢያ ትብሃል። ኣብቲ ዘለኹሞ ከተማ፣ በብዓነቱ ስም ይህልወን ይኸውን ኢዩ። ሙዚቃ ምስማዕ ከማን ሓጋዚ ኢዩ።

Conversate with people who speak English and communicate with other Eritreans/Tigrinya speakers in English. (help each other learn with no judgement)

Go to events/gatherings
School party, work party, free public events/festivals
ኣብ ሰብ ዝእከበሉ ማሕበራዊ ኣጋጥሚ ናይ በዓል፣ ጓይላ፣ ሓዘን፣ ተሳተፉ።

Carry a dictionary or use online dictionary through your phone. Or make a list of recurring words/phrases and research their translation. If you have a thought in Tigrinya, write it down then research it’s meaning in English.

Be brave, have confidence - especially when you have conversations
አታ ናይ መወዳእታ ምዕዶ ከካፍለኩም ዝደሊ፤ ኣይትፍርሑ፣ ድፈሩ።
ኤሪትራውያን ብተፈጥሮ ህድእን ትሑትን ባህሪ ኢዩ ዘለና።
ኣነ ኣብ ዘረባ ወይ ዕላል ብኢንግሊዝ ክዛረብ የሕፍረኒ ኢዩ ነይሩ። ተገዳስነት እንተ ኣሪኻ፣ ሰብ ክሕግዘካ ይተባባዕ ኢዩ።

Brava! I put some points below that I thought might help others.
1. ካብ ኤርትራውያን ወጻኢ ኣዕሩኽ/ማሓዙት ምግባር ከይፈተኻ ክትዛረብ ስለዝገብር ሓጋዚ ኢዩ።
2. ሕጽር ዝበሉ ጽሑፋት ምንባብ። ፈጺምና ጀመርቲ ምስ እንኸውን ድማ ነቲ ዘንበብናዮ ምጽሓፍ።
3. መዝገበ ቃላት ናይቲ ክንምሃሮ ንደሊ ቋንቋ ጥራይ ምጥቃም። ንኣብነት English ንምምሃር ኣብ ክንዲ English-Tigrinya መዝገበ ቃላት English-English ምጥቃም። እናተርጎምና ምስእንምሃሮ ብዙሕ ንፈልጥ ግን ብዙሕ ክንመሃር ኣይንኽእልን ምኽንያቱ ሓንጎልና ኣብ ክንዲ ብእንግሊዝኛ ዝሓስብ፡ ብትግርኛ ሓሲቡ ክሳብ ዝተርጉመልና ግዜ ይወስድ።
4. ዝምስጠካ ነገራት ምንባብ። ብዛዕባ ታሪኽ ፍሉጣት ሰባት ዲኻ ትግደስ፡ ስፖርት ዲኻ ትከታተል፡ ኮታ ዝምስጠካ ነገር ምንባብ። ኣነ ንኣብነት ኩዕሶ እግሪ ስለዝከታተል መጀመርታ ኣምሓርኛ ክምሃር ከለኹ ናይ ጋዜጣ ገዚአ ናይ ስፖርት የንብብ ኔረ። ካብኡ ቀጺለ ዜናን ናይ ፖለቲካ መጻሕፍትን የንብብ ኔረ። ዝተኻረኹዎ ገዛ ካብ ኤርትራውያን ብብዝሒ ዝነብሩሉ ከባቢታት ርሕቕ ዝበለ ኔሩ። ኣብ ውሽጢ 4 ኣዋርሕ ጽቡቕ ክኢለ።
5. ኣብ ቲቪ ወይ ሬድዮ ዜና ምክትታል። እዋናዊ ሓበሬታ ትከታተል፡ ብዝበለጸ ግን ናይ ምስማዕ ክእለትካ የዕቢ። ክመጽእ ከለኹ ናይ እንግሊዝኛ ጸገም የብለይን ዝብል ስምዒት ኢዩ ኔሩኒ ምኽንያቱ ኣብ ኤርትራ ድሓን ዝኮነ ደረጃ በጺሐ ስለዝነበርኩ። ግን ላህጃን ምቕልጣፍን ተደማሚሩ ንሓጺር ግዜ ጸጊሙኒ። ቀጻሊ ዜናታት ምክትታል ተማሓይሸ። ንእንግሊዝኛ ብትግርኛ እንዳተርጎምኩ ስለዝተማሃርኩ፡ ካብቲ ኣቀዲመ ዝበልኩዎ ብትግርኛ እናሓሰብካ ተርጒምካ ምዝራብ ምእንቲ ክገላገል ሕጂ'ውን ጻዕርታት ይገብር።

If we're being completely honest I don't really get much out of your hair tutorial videos other than seeing a *nice person* (not sure If this is "appropriate" anymore. lol). I do watch them sometimes but I'm here because of your other channel #Madgebs (and I usually try to give support to people that I admire.) I find your Etriean videos way more interesting. Excuse my 'Ah meruhcan'' ignorance but I had no idea that this culture even existed. It's pretty dope. It's sad that I've never heard of this. TV is filled with way too many sagging pants for people that look like us. I feel the same way about my puerto rican half. It's sad that we STILL have to do our own research beyond negative stereotypes. Even Jazz is gone.
