why do you remove the black and red wire on the fan?
Hi, I didn't remove the wire from the fan when I checked. It was already removed.
So dust it out? is that considered fixing it? That shouldn't have even been overheating with that amount of dust in it. It wasn't even that bad so there was probably something else wrong with it which was probably discovered when it was running at full speed just sitting there and couldn't handle a small load being put on it.Looked to me like you wanted to appear like you were fixing it by stretching out cleaning a fan by hand using a brush for some reason. just hit it with a shot of air and move on to actually figuring out the problem. And why did you peel the tape off that covers the solder points? Did you not turn it on to see if it would spin before even messing with it? I'm just not understanding the process going on here and it seems like you just started taking it apart before testing anything like you don't know what's wrong at all or have a standard procedure you follow to increase the chance of success.
