Watched game 3 w my gf who is a dbacks fan. This 2017 Dodgers team was different, all the memories, even the WS are great tho :)

All but 1. First game it was 8-4 then when Kenley made that crazy catch it was 8-5. But yeah pretty weird. That team was stacked and for the dbacks to get all those hr's, makes you wonder.
Same with all of the Cubs runs in the NLCS.

Braves fans have had it the hardest from the 90's to now, we havent won a playoff series since lole 97 and I know Dodgers fans have had it hard getting beat cheating twice but at least u all got to the series

Building a team up through hard work, grinding through bad seasons, drafting and developing your own talent and not just buying players from other teams. Now that’s impressive.

They’ve not bought talent, they’ve remained in the top 10 in farm systems for a decade and have used that depth to facilitate trades to fill holes in the roster. Now going into 2023 they’re widely considered to have the best farm system in all of baseball, 8 top 100 prospects in average, and many more prospects expected to contribute in the next couple years. I get the Dodgers have major advantages with their resources, but to say “they buy their teams” is disingenuous, especially when they’ve consistently shown their expertise at identifying, drafting, and developing talent
