    I took my seed out of the cocopeat, while doing so some of my roots broke.Will it cause any harm to the seed.Its been 13 days many small and long roots have came out of the seed.

    • @myalivesoul
      @myalivesoul  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Congrats that the seeds has grown. If few roots broke off it doesnt do any much harm to the plant but it is suggested that you shoudnt take the roots off the coco peat until there is huge network of the root is seen. Hopefully you dont have to be sad. it will surely gorw. It is also recommended do not transplant very small plants.. let them grow enough big in the cup and then only transplant them.

    • @zacharykenniston748
      @zacharykenniston748 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on how much root broke. if the taproot (the trees brain) is destroyed the tree is dead. But if it’s just a few feeder roots it will just grow slower but probably recover.

    How strong is the cashew tree roots ? If planted near a compound wall, will it be the cause for the wall to crack ?

    • @myalivesoul
      @myalivesoul  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It’s always good to keep a safe distance from wall. Because once it will become big it can effect the wall as well as the plant can disturb others house so u may have to cut down branches on others compound.. so best is to maintain distance from wall and planting. The roots are definitely strong once they become big..!

      Day temperatures for growing cashews should not drop below 10°C (50F), and cashew trees handle temperatures above 40°C (105F) well. Is this temperature maintained my friend ?

    • @micheler3011
      @micheler3011 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Deepak. the fruits just drop from the tree and once not disturbed only watered, they come up into trees. People come for slips all the time and get them free. The trees bear yellow or red fruit. We call them cashew cherry. The seeds if eaten like that without roasting are poisonous. This is how they get cashew nuts, that are sold. These kind of seeds. Not hard to grow once you have a tree.

      thank you for your comment. Really this is a good piece of information. The seeds are poisonous if not eaten rosed really??? What about the fruit can u eat them??

    • @micheler3011
      @micheler3011 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes fruit can be eaten just like that, you just screw off the seed and wash the fruit and eat it, it’s kind of juicy stainy chewy tasting fruit ( juice stains clothes also) but they say fruits are full of vitamin C. Produces many fruit.

    You've kept the plants inside an airtight packet. Can we keep it open?

    • @myalivesoul
      @myalivesoul  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In air tight bag, the moosture doesnt go away and the seed get warmer n grows faster. If u do not keep that cashew seeds in plaztic bg then seed will grow. Slower. If u donot have zip lock u can use any plastic bag but the mouth should be closed. Better keep in any airtight bag. All the best Plz do support my channel thanks
