There were quite a few things that I would of wanted to know by the end, like what tools you used, what level was your blending at, how did you choose your highlight and low light colors? It was an interesting speed paint at the very least, but not very helpful for beginners.

Tracing is bad. Dont do it. First it couod be considered art theft and second you wont learn much from it. Draw even if youre not good and youll get better with time. Drawing is not a talent but a skill
I think that as long as you dont promote the traced artwork as only your own, credit the original artist and dont get money for it, it should be alright at least for training. And you can actually learn a lot by tracing different styles-shading, different positions(really helpful especially with hands and feet) and so on. Glimni c:you judt need to press file>open>choose a pic you wanna trace>go for it and dont forget to not simply copy, but to comprehend and familiarize yourself with how the given artist did this and that and why did he do it this way rather than some other. This tutorial is good if u good at colors and know how to use Sai brushes, I used my self did brush and worked. This tutorial is very good if you don't know how to color very long hair. Thanks~

(0:22) I've seen them a lot in different art and I still haven't figured out what they're supposed to do. xD Oh and yay you used my fave song!
+Qʋɛɛи Sɛℓɛиɛ Not Mail Cote but this program is Easy Paint Tool SAI. The reason I put the 5 paint blots is so that it's an easy reference and access of the colours you're going to use if your pallet is full.
It is possible with a mouse, but a tablet&pen have huge advantages. For example brush strokes on a mouse are always one size and thickness, where as a pen changes mid-stroke depending on how hard you press the pen. Also a tablet make it feel more natural to make the strokes.
