Father and Daughter "Three Weeks In One!" // Hike 36/52// TSP 8/59 {S3 E 9}

Hello and welcome back to the Friday Night Adventure. In the week's episode, we peel back the curtain and let you in on what happen during a bye week, a week when we don't hike. Although we're not on the trail, training is always going on. Without it, climbing mountainsides could be a problem. Along with a bye week, we usually have a week where we just hike without recording. We added this component years ago shortly after adding the "bye week". After starting the TH-cam channel, we found ourselves missing out on just hiking and listening to the natural world around us. So, we added a break from recording. Hey, even when we are recording to share this life with you all, we don't think of "setting up shots". Believe it or not as we trek through the woods we usually go "Oooh look at that!" then run backwards or forwards, sit the phone or camera down to try and capture something compelling... or mundane to give you a feel for where we're at, what we see and experience on the hike. Now! the "Foot walk by" is totally Dad's idea, he got it from watching Overland channels, where they're always shooting tires driving. No one has ever thought of that in a hiking video. His thought "Our feet are our tires!".
So this week, is a Bye Week, fun, and then up to Tennessee state park number 8, Fort Loudoun State Park for a trek through the forest. After weeks of rain and near flat trails this was welcomed. The park has a museum, early American history, day use campsites, a fishing pier, a fort and more. are you ready? Then jump in the backseat and take a ride with us and experience adventure through our eyes....
