Cool! It sounds like the inverter you're hearing is actually the one for the engine, not the drive motor, as it changes frequency along with the revs of the engine. Any news on actual fuel economy vs a traditional diesel bus with a regular gearbox?
@@ThisRandomUsername Yeah probably the generator. I am still trying to figure out exactly where the inverter is, so i can get a better recording of it. i know it's on the roof but thats about it. As for fuel economy, i don't have the numbers, not really my field of interest, however i think they are probably advertised by allison! i can also try finding them

These older hybrids yes they had good acceleration, but the newer hybrids don’t
