I really love that they changed the overly used generic "using everything I've got" to " USING EVERY ABILITY IV'E GOT IN MY ARSENAL". It makes Deku sound so much more badass, like he's a one man army.
Well, he does have access to multiple abilities of OFA now
People complain about dub added lines, but the sub lacks spice sometimes. That was a good addition
I love the music played, which is the same music for Mirko vs the High Ends. Yuki Hayashi killed it with the soundtrack this season

Justin Briner is amazing as Deku! I love how he changed his voice a bit here due to how serious and matured Midoriya has gotten up to this point while making it sound natural

Deku getting access to the previous user's quirks was really cool, but what I love most is it continues to evolve his fighting style to differ from All Might's.

I remember watching the channel “Plot Armor” 2 years ago about this exact scene and I was so hyped about Deku getting stronger and unlocking new quirks. And now that it’s animated it’s so good!
Im a sucker for superheroes, and this is very easily one of my favorite momenta from anime. Its such a cool moment woth the soundtrack going way too hard, and the va absolutely killed it

I'm not sure if they made it clear, but did Deku unlock Float at this moment, or in that flashback when he trained with Froppy, Ochako and Sero
Unlocked at this moment the training was because All might knew what the next power was going to be so he trained Deku to know how to use it when it manifest
@@thomascaldwell2567 actually he already had unlocked float when he did the training at the gym with them as he was already floating around with uraraka and using black whip at the same time practicing. He chose to use it now because it was his last resort and had no choice. Remember the many quirks of OFA are still trying to be kept a secret.
@@thomascaldwell2567 the unlocking of float the first time was off screen just like in the manga. Everyone wondered how he knew how to use it and it because horikoshi purposely chose to leave it as a surprise reveal during the fight but Deku had already been practicing with it off panel

The voice acting is amazing the music is amazing the animation is also amazing *however* as a manga reader I kinda feel like the setting/ the tone of the show is a bit off like the manga has a more darker lighting/shading but in the anime the colours are so bright and the sky is blue and I just can't take the situation as seriously as I did the manga because of how brightly coloured the general setting is

I’m really disappointed by half of deku’s powers. Black whip, danger sense, and the smokescreen are fine but the rest are just variants of the energy storage ability and all amount to “I just gotta hit him even harder”. It feels like a waste of an idea with a lot of potential. I’m not saying you give him more overpowered abilities(like shonen would ever do that to their lead, am I right) but why bother teasing more powers if it’s just gonna amount to the same strategy the knuckles clan uses. It’s just frustrating you know.
Float greatly improved his mobility fa jin you’re kinda right about but it fits into the whole OFA breaks bones aspect to make him stromger. And gearshift is a pretty dang original and cool ability
Almost as if Bakugo pointed out how individually the quirks by themselves sucks. Without OFA they wouldnt br as effective. Smokescreen wouldn't blanket a large area, Fa Jin wouldnt have a strong output, Gear Shift wouldnt be at its maximum compared to being buffed by stockpile in OFA, etc

I love how at 0:31 they chose like a peaceful, whimsical moment of the 7th using her quirk instead of her using it during combat. You can see it all in gran torinos face, its like deku is saying "You can rest easy, the symbol of peace is here".

Voice actor definitely changed it up sometime in season 5
It actually dose in both ways but it’s best to wait when the time comes

@@zakirstocks9514 Agreed. Down to the story, characters and character development, animation, call backs and OST. It’s just a really great anime. It may not be “peak fiction” as some say or the greatest anime ever, but in my eyes MHA is up there as one of the greats. Another thing I love about this anime is how they go in detail of how someone’s abilities work. It’s not only giving viewers a better explanation to those powers, but it makes these characters OP but also have limits at the same time…which I loves since it makes a fight more interesting for me. I don’t really like my characters to be too OP where nothing can hurt them unless you have their weakness like Superman. It’s cool to see but just gets boring for me, however I like Satama tho.
Is Midoriyas voice changing? It’d be neat if he mirrored Shigi in that way.

For me, Justin Briner is great voicing Izu-chan 'cause he captures his attitude and he can give him cuteness and fierceness at moment of voicing him...

Loved the desperation and fury you can hear in Justin's voice this season! I had to rewind some scenes a couple times because I was blown away by his vocal deliveries. He really amped up his amazing acting plus ultra 😍
