In my 20 yrs back n forth in church. I've never had church assist me even at my worst. They offer prayer and say God will work it out! Lol. The one time I ever directly asked for help, this at a new church. I was visiting for like 2 or so years. I was told I'm not a member and they don't help non members. The same church that I was giving tithe, offering, sowing seeds and giving sacrifice. I had to remind myself that I'm not in church for people but for God. Let it go and keep attending.
