Smells great just gives me a headache every time unfortunately. I had to sell. I also get a headache with YSL Y EDP, Light Blue Intense, and Profondo. I have about 20 other fragrances which I’m fine with, so although I’m prone I’m not massively prone. Maybe those ones share a sharp chemical or something? (I know Layton is probably mostly natural ingredients). Scent wise though Layton is great. I guess I just have an unfortunate experience with it.
That fragrance to me personally smells exactly like my mothers make-up bag if it were filled with lipstick. I have never understood it but I know I am not the norm and most people love it 🤣

I think a lot of people cut their Tom Ford teeth on Noir Extreme because it’s so likable and it’s one of the most affordable and usually available at discounters. Easy to like and just unique enough.

Have you ever heard anything about Fragonard perfumes? I toured a facility in Paris a few years ago and wasn’t super impressed with their in-store stock, but they seem to have some interesting ones on their website. I just can’t justify paying the import if I don’t know what it smells like….

My subconscious must be anti-Creed. I've gotten a few Creed samples including Aventus and Green Irish Tweed and although they are pleasant my first thought was "why the hype". Lalique Encre Noire blew me away more then Aventus did.
Dior Homme Intense blew my mind in a bad way, thankfully I only bought a $2.99 sample. It truly did smell like lipstick on the drydown. I hadn't even seen or read any reviews prior to buying and spraying it so I wasn't biased. The spray on smelled like a wet rock. I knew I didn't like it, so I had my wife smell the drydown on my arm and she says: "Oh no, most definitely not." It smelled like something an old woman would wear - certainly not for me. Word to the wise - sample it first. Oh, and I would like to thank the ladies down in Miami (you know who you are!) for coming through with the unopened Luminous Night for a very decent price.

I used Terroni for the airport. The security lady gave me a compliment asking me the name of the fragrance and then two more jump in. Amazing one.
I think my wow struck fragrance that I bought this year is African Leather.
I picked up Luminous Night Exclusive in the Amsterdam airport and absolutely love it. Its hard to find even in the middle east.
So lucky, been looking for that line in europe for so long lol, I want the Mysterious Night

In my opinion, Explorer is more of a warm weather scent. I like loud smells during thr cold, so I don't really rotate Explorer in those months.

Tom Ford Noir extreme is a great fragrance but has many similarities to spicebomb extreme. Fahrenheit parfum blew my mind.

Go with azzaro. Blind but worthy. Le male parfum is very very powdery and unisex. Ultra male is a lot better imho.
