We rode the Skyliner when it first opened coming back from Epcot after closing. They filled each cab to capacity. Our cab was so full that the last guy in had to partially sit on my lap. They shut our door and instead of us just going, they stopped it and checked our weight. My claustrophobia clicked in as the cab started to fog up. It was a miserable ride. Then when we got to the Riviera, we came in so hard that a lady screamed. The next night they had a crash at the same Riviera Station. I was so happy to hear that they were doing single party rides after Covid.
I love hopping on the Skyliner. It’s a good time to relax (esp if you get one all by yourself). But I have also met some really great people when we have shared a gondola.
So awesome you got a empty sky liner cart!! It makes it so much relaxing and quiet!! I love the Art of Animation Hotel!! I really like the finding Nemo hotel. It’s so cute with all the ocean theme around it it really does make you feel like you’re in the ocean!! France in Epcot looks so pretty with all the old architecture of the buildings! The café you went to looks so cute and all the sandwiches and croissants looked so yummy!! so glad you had a great time even though it was a rainy day!! I love your Mickey Disneyland sweatshirt. I was skeptical, but we all love the skyliner. We got upgraded to AOA on our 2021 trip for the 50th. The family suites are so nice. They have regular rooms too that are not much more than the other values. I agree the themeing is so good. Especially the main pool and cars land.
When we there, I spent every morning drinking coffee, having a smoke, and watching the Skyliner. By the fourth day, we had made our own little group of 'outcasts'. I met a lot of people from all over the country. It was great. I guess they take the screen down in the winter. That is one of those pools that show movies every night.
My husband and I are going next month to stay at Saratoga and not do the parks… just resort hop, sit by the pool, eat and shop at Disney Springs and we were going to use the Skyliner to get our “fix” for rides so this video title wasn’t fun to see… until I saw you show it reopens on the 27th!! Phew!!! 😂😂😂
My husband and I rode the Skyliner at night in November, from Epcot to the art of animation. It was amazing.This was our first trip staying at the suites at Art of Animation.

What an absolute cutie. That aside, I loved every second of the multiple rides I took on the Skyliner. I’m going back on 2/8, and I can’t wait to ride around in the sky some more. The views are incredible.
Caribbean Beach in the Jamaican area is my favorite Skyliner resort, but Pop is a very close second. Haha, when you turned around and looked at the pool over Caribbean Beach, that was the building I was in last time I was there. So convenient to the front, to the Skyliner, and to the buses.
We LOVED AoA when the kids were little. The suites were great. Love La Petite Cafe, my favorite little treat place to go to. Every time hubby and I do our trip sans kids, we do a new resort. In April it's going to be Coronado for my favorite festival Flower and Garden. We hope to run into you!
How lovely to take a Skyliner trip today, I so needed it. During my 2022 trip, I spent an afternoon riding the whole route and visited Resorts, I normally would never have been to. It always seems like the Skyliner comes in hot for a landing before stopping.
The Skyliner reminds me of when DSNYLND/CA had the Sky buckets which went to Fantasyland to Tomorrowland. The Matterhorn was built around the Sky buckets going through it. Thank you, as always, Jackie for taking us all on a memorable field trip.
We were over on Sunday..unbeknown to us we were blacked out due to MLK weekend. No matter...I've watched plenty of doll face (an old term you kids wouldn't know) videos and have some ideas. So we used Disney transportation to check out some resorts. I tried to find that spot where you and Sam watched the fireworks at contemporary but no luck. Plenty of other spots though. We took the skyliner from just outside Epcot to the studios just to see how it was. It was kind of fun..different view of the area. A couple told us they were at Riviera and said we should check it out but didn't have time. Finished the night at Splitsville outside to watch the game. At least until my wife couldn't handle the 'frigid' 50 degree temps. Thanks as always for providing the info and entertainment (even the singing!)
Jackie when I saw this video pop up.I was like yes.The Skyliner is my favorite transportation.Its so peaceful ridding it Sometimes I’ll go out of my way just to ride it
I love the way the AoA landscaping matches the different bldgs. The Pop is our favorite. 6 straight times.. Same bldg every time. Some trips it took a little while to get a room. However cast members came thru every time. Love the cast members.

Jackie the day we were there in EPCOT it was pouring and they closed the skyliner only to find out when we got to the entrance that skyliner was open again! We stayed at the POP Century
I loved this! We stayed at Art of Animation for the first time this past December and loved it! I would have loved some extra time to just walk all around and take it all in. I look forward to see a future vlog of your stay there! Also, we all loved the Skyliner and how easy it made it to get to Hollywood Studios and Epcot and how fast we could get to them.
We stayed at Caribbean Beach last year in “Aruba” it was right next to the Riviera Skyliner station. Absolute game changer of a holiday. 2 mins walk for skyliner and fab snacks!
Love the Skyliner. I prefer a non-themed gondola now as you can see out of the windows better. Definitely agree about the hotel theming - the newest hotels don’t have the same Disney feel as much. Pop and Animation are great resorts. The Cars suites are amazing.
Would love to see a vlog just following you about town, errands, etc. It would be a nice addition amongst the theme-park content. As always, thank you for sharing your day.
I’ve only been on the Riviera/Epcot line. Now I want to do a whole Skyliner resort tour. I opened Pop Century on the Front Desk team so it always holds good memories. Though sad they removed the unique theming in each room when they renovated to the new modern interiors.
We had some fun memories when we stayed at pop on July 2023. What a fun ride of its own. It was amazing. We want to stay at art of animation on year. Yea it’s a little scary when you are riding above water….and when it comes to stopping it almost seems like you are going to hit the other bucket lol.
Back in the day, with 3 kids, the AoA family suite was a big plus for us; 2 bathrooms? sold! At the time my oldest was very into Cars, so the choice was obvious. Look forward to video of your stay!
Loved your POV of the Skyliner! We enjoy riding all the different lines as if they were an attraction. Well, I guess they are! Heading up in February, so hopefully they will reopen it on time. 🤞
I rode this when winds were coming in from hurricane Ian 😂😂😂we got stuck on the skyliner way up actually from Hollywood studios until the wind calmed . They shut it down after that until it was safe😂 such fun.
This was a great idea for a video❤ I think something like can be really intimidating for tourists who have never done it. This really gives viewers a good idea of how the system functions, how beneficial it is, and it helps people that do have a fear of heights decide whether this is something they can even do💜

Mmm, Les Halles! Good choice! But you missed out on the Framboise. If you like raspberries, it's a must! It is my favorite thing I've ever put in my mouth. It wows me every time. They didn't have it after the pandemic with their limited menu. So glad to see it's back!

Can’t believe Disney Skyliner is getting a refurbishment. I love riding in Disney Skyliner virtually with you since I didn’t make a trip to Orlando. Once I’m in Orlando, we’ll have a meetup.
The last time I rode the Skyliner was 2021 one night my mom and I were leaving Epcot and we got suck on the skyliner I was so scared that night as much as I love staying a pop Century I said I’m never riding the Skyliner again i love your videos as always Jackie
I love love love to ride the Skyliner. I could ride that all day. I will ride it from one end all the way to the other. I know you’re scared of heights like me, but it doesn’t even bother me when I ride it. The first resort I ever stayed at was Pops Century. It was fun, but ever since I’ve always stayed in deluxe resorts. I stayed in the Riviera and I loved it. It was gorgeous. Last time I was there I went to Epcot. I love Epcot. I just don’t like the drunk people. I did go to that pastry shop and got some macaroons and other things, but that grilled ham and cheese sandwich looked delicious. I don’t have a Disney vacation planned, I’m kind of bummed, but hopefully I’ll get to go sometime this year.

Pop century is one of my favorite resorts to stay at. It’s amazing, the theming and food court is one of the best I’ve seen at Disney.

My family stayed at The Art of Animation in December of 2022. It was wonderful for all of us! The food and service were great! You need to try it!

Next time I plan a trip to WDW, I'm for sure adding the Skyliner to my list and I just might even book at the Art of Animation resort! I didn't realize they had a incredible Cars themed area! Thanks as always, Jackie for everything you do! Oh, and if Disney ever update the Skyliner announcer, they should give you a call! I think you would do a great job!

Love the skyliner! Thanks for taking us along for all of the beautiful views. Better than the ridiculous winter storm outside my window right now. Roads aren't bad but there are 6 foot snow drifts between our car and the road. 😳🙄❄️

The heights of riding on that thing might bother me but I would be, well, fairly nervous about going over the water like that! And it would be worse with a crammed full cabin like someone posted below! Ha ha. Thanks for sharing the journey with us!

Can’t believe Disney Skyliner is getting a refurbishment. I love riding in Disney Skyliner virtually with you since I didn’t make a trip to Orlando. Once I’m in Orlando, we’ll have a meetup.
The last time I rode the Skyliner was 2021 one night my mom and I were leaving Epcot and we got suck on the skyliner I was so scared that night as much as I love staying a pop Century I said I’m never riding the Skyliner again i love your videos as always Jackie
I love love love to ride the Skyliner. I could ride that all day. I will ride it from one end all the way to the other. I know you’re scared of heights like me, but it doesn’t even bother me when I ride it. The first resort I ever stayed at was Pops Century. It was fun, but ever since I’ve always stayed in deluxe resorts. I stayed in the Riviera and I loved it. It was gorgeous. Last time I was there I went to Epcot. I love Epcot. I just don’t like the drunk people. I did go to that pastry shop and got some macaroons and other things, but that grilled ham and cheese sandwich looked delicious. I don’t have a Disney vacation planned, I’m kind of bummed, but hopefully I’ll get to go sometime this year.
Can you do Magic Kingdom next? Love the park hopping as well!
