So this video displays how the Akulliit (Diskobay area 21 km south of Qasigiannguit)is now used for leisure trips, weekend- and summer stayovers. It used to be a village inhabited all year around back in the day. The interviewed inhabitants tells stories of how they enjoy this beautiful part of the world. How they spend time, enjoying life, while living partly of the natural recources, such as fish, seals and watch the whales from land. They tell how nice it is to get away from the city and modern lifestyle for the duration of their trip. It's a peaceful place. I'd like to go back some day :)
