I loved career mode in 2008, once I was able to figure out how to get all the achievements on that progress report list. That took way too long to figure out though, with no guides on how to get them, so just a lot of trial and error. I hate Universe Mode way more, which they're had since Smackdown vs. Raw 2011. They need to bring back Season Mode like they had in Here Comes The Pain up to 2007 though and make it so you can win ever title on your brand, with storylines leading up to winning the belts, like they somewhat did in HCTP with the tag and world titles.

I remember I was so crushing hard on Stephanie McMahon at the time (and still) that every single time I'd accept the proposal, just for dream's sake. The only time I didn't was the one time I said no just to see what would happen. Might be career suicide, but I had it hard for that lady. I both tip my hat to, and envy, Triple H. Lol!
Yeah and what sucks is even if you say no to Steph, the McMahons still get pissed off at your character and they still show that cutscene if him leaving her at the altar, which makes no sense.

But the one thing I'm talking about is how you would have your enemy talking to you on the phone saying so many disrespectful things and how they don't respect you but when it's time to get ready for the match it shows you either shaking their hand or giving them a fist bump that's the one thing I never understood.

Why even give us the choice to marry Steph if we don’t get to marry her? Hell the cutscene whether we decide to marry her or not is the same! Svr 2008 is the weakest in the series and it had so much potential too! I wish these story modes change depending on your overall so there’s more replay value.

2008 was fun except for career mode
