That -- was awesome. I love the track analytics, the car diagnostics, the racing breakdown, and the extra track time. Thank you again, Mark, you Rule. 🤩😎🍺
Great explanation and demonstration of the weight distribution and car characteristics and how they affect performance on this track! Looks like the Runt too may be queued up for a run! Looking forward to seeing it in action! Thanks for hosting and posting!
Cool to hear your thoughts! Thanks for that!! I hope Aron was happy with the result yesterday 😅 I can‘t wait to see the Beetle race coming up on RLD! Thank you for all the hours of fun you brings to us!!! I only can imagine how many work it is! I wich you a lot of fun to let race the Rally cars!
How blessed we are to have a host that will undertake this extra effort which benefits fans and racers alike 🥳👑 What an astounding front/rear bias on Numbskull's vehicle! Apart from a drag strip, where else could that setup prevail? Really beside myself with that revelation 😳 _Is GTR the Bill Nye of diecast racing?_ I'm so here for that!! 💯😎🏁
@@numbskulldiecastracing maybe on another crunchy dive into the physics of racing we could have Dr Amy Mainzer guest co-host in the booth. Really, just hearing her voice would be enough for me 🥰
Thanks for the technical explanation with the entertainment of the exhibition race. As much as I enjoy some of the tighter rules, having a mixed bag of different castings and builder’s styles is more educational and helps everyone see what casting and weight distribution can do. We have to build for what we imagine will work but without any way to actually test run the track and see how our choices affect the car, we have to watch them run and try to plan for the next race. I’m looking forward to the VW Beetle race.
Awesome racing and great break downs and insights into the track and the vehicle builds. Gratz to this race winner. WTG! A 10,000 diecast thumbs up production. Excelsior! "Keep your roof to the Sun". Mahalo! 🤙🏽
Good stuff Mark 👏 love the exhibition races for the technical purposes of the track and cars. Please feel free to throw the Slasher in an exhibition. 👍😎🏁🏁🏁🐅
This is one of my favorite GTR videos, thank you; I find this fascinating! I love how much time and thought goes into the cars! Is there a forum or someplace where this stuff is discussed? What would happen with a front heavy weight distribution? Thanks again!
Wow, did you see that amazing drift by my Impreza during the Half-Time!!! This Gravity Chaos race is going to be insane!! Also, did I see my Bison off-road queued up for a race!!!! I can't wait to see how it does.
This is something I should have explained in the video. I believe what aided his performance over the dunes was a longer wheelbase, less side-to-side energy wasted.
So as a skateboarder of 39yrs a half pipe has at least 6" to 2' of vert plus if it is mega sized there is even more vertical. So if cars hit a half pipe with 3" of vertical we could see some sweet ariels and less cars would dnf😮😅 GR8FUL 4U 1❤1💡
To be honest, it looks a little bit unfair from numbskull to attend that race with so unrealistic car. Too long wheelbase, too strange weight distribution, too wide, too big wheels. I'd like to see closer to each other cars for the next rivalry. And by the way, all racings were awesome.
Standard width, standard size off-road knobby tires (they just look big), experimental weight distribution, and standard "long wheel-base," again, it just looks 'long' compared to some of the compact high-riding vehicles. I did roll the dice with my car; I had no idea how it would perform yet alone if it would make it over the dunes. But I sure did have fun. 🤩😎🍺
@9Corvinus You hit the nail on the head. The whole purpose of this inaugural tournament was to learn about the track and the interaction of the vehicles with the track. In the future, we will host specific classes and categories.

Thanks for explaining some of the technical details, very helpful. That parallel parking job at 6:15 was right out of a movie script.

Great racing and some interesting information. We’re all on an expedition, an expedition to find more speed. Thanks GTR for being a place to race.
Numbskull is top tier! Great video and enjoy the explanations!
🙂
I love this! A behind the scenes and a small touch of engineering and science. Awesome vid
Exciting start to Sunday morning! The tournament is going to be great.
When I see a video from you guys, it's the first thing I watch. Love it. Thank you!
NO, thank you!! 😄
8:23 comentators curse right there 🤣
This track looks so good, very unique, great to watch 👍
Entertaining and informative. Something to think about for future Dune races…. Excellent 👍🏼
Very Interesting. Thanks.
Very interesting! Thank you for that video!

Excellent tutorial and racing action!
The fastest of the fast. Let's go racers!
Great info and great racing............LOVED IT!!!!!!
Great vid! Valuable information for future builders for this track. Thanks 🏁🇬🇧👍
Great stuff!
Numbskull has it down to a science!
🙂
Hardest train hit by far!! Lol sticks and train parts scattered everywhere!!!
👍👍 again and again.
Very Interesting. Thanks.

Here we are for many emotions in the exhibition

Probably the best 4 cars in the tournament but Numbskull was clearly the best
Thanks again, Tim. Watching your cars race dragged me into this hobby.
@ appreciate that
Numbskull seems to really pick up speed through the dunes. Or is it that he maintains his speed and the others lose a little? Great racing again.

BLR BLR!! Maybe Aaron can go to the beach and catch some rays? You guys seem awfully pale.
Congrats to Numbskull! Again? I feel like I said that before. It's deja vu all over again.
@@thevisiblehand5215😅 pale is an understatement!

🏁🏁🏁🏁NUMBSKULL FOR THE WIN🏁🏁🏁🏁
i wonder if i can build something for this track
I really enjoyed this more analytic video. Now I see why you could do it without Aaron. He tends to get distracted just a little bit.
😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂
No style points for JACs sashay across the line? 🎉
Well... in group racing, BLR successfully executed a barrel roll over the jump. It was a thing of beauty, yet we didn't give him any extra credit. 😉
👍

❤👍👍
So what you're saying is that Numskull is not a numbskull.
Believe me -- I am a numbskull, to the core of my soul. 🙂😎🍺
When the race was posted, this track was a total unknown entity. So either he did his homework real well, or he just got lucky..
@@OeysteinLarsen I do love luck -- and beer. 😍😎🍺🍺

@numbskulldiecastracing it's no doubt well deserved victory) but in that kind of situations, some new rules with restrictions come out)
