Thank you for this flip through! I am still undecided on which way to go in LA. I appreciate these videos so much in helping me choose curriculum for my boys.
Your little one is beyond adorable omg!! Thanks so much for walking through this my five year old will be 6 in December and I think she’s definitely ready. I needed to see it in action thanks so much for the helpful video!
Thank you so much for being so real on how your littles handle reading. I feel like my little boy struggles not only in reading but loving to read. I don’t want to push him and seeing how you have handled certain hurdles has helped me not put so much pressure on him and on me.
I explored the homeschool app and am amazed and so happy about video books, art audio narrations, and answer keys all right in one spot!! Very excited to see how this works!
Loved this video! You inspire me to be excited about my children's curriculum and how my energy and optimism can be a way for my children to experience the fun side of education.
Thank you for the review I have been waiting for it. It sounds awesome I will be having an incoming 1 grader. I really enjoy your videos, they are so informed and educated me as a new learning homeschooling mom. We used the Good and the Beautiful for kindergarten and enjoyed it a lot. I was looking forward for this review. Good luck in your move and your new place of residence. I will be praying for your family.
Those nature readers look amazing! I really enjoyed the flip through and seeing the lesson gives a great perspective on how it all comes together. Thanks!
I was so happy to see this video :) you're channel is one of the first I look for. Youre such an encouragement and insightful with curriculum. I had no idea ya'll were a military family! We are too for a bit longer.
@@PursuingPeace we really have no idea what with all the craziness of the past two years. God opened a door for him to be able to resign since he is looking to take a church. We're prayerful that it's no later than this summer.
I’m so torn! I already printed the last edition and we were going to start back next week but we liked the revamped math so much that I think my oldest would really like the new version.
I have been (im)patiently waiting on your review for weeks!! I've been on the fence of what LA we were using for next year and am so excited to see this!
So I have an upcoming 3rd grader and then three littles 2 and under but I still download all the free Language Arts and Math because it’s so beautiful lol I can’t wait to use this one with my 3 youngest when the time comes. Edit to add: we’re also Military! So cool to find other families in our community who homeschool. We PCS to Florida in October. Good luck with your move! 🖤
Hi. Thanks for the thorough review and walk through of the level 1! Is this also a good curriculum for a school with many students in the class? Will it prepare the students for state assessments? Does it follow common core or any state standards?
We stopped using tgtb kindergarten because it was no developmentally appropriate for most kindergartener and had so many "missed the mark" moments. Honestly our experience was so bad that I never wanted to go back. It looks the program revamp would be worth pursuing for some families.
Same here. It was such a chore getting through the kindergarten book. I gave up on it so many times and we pretty much skipped all dictate sections since my son isn't ready for that. We just started Level 1 this week and I am impressed. It is FAR more engaging!
@@Alicia-cq9si My daughter is in first grade now, and I bought TGTB Level K last year, and it was way too advanced for her. I pulled it out again today, and it looks to be right on par with what her other first grade books teach! Is your son in first grade now? I see Level 1 seems to be a better fit this time around for you. I'd like to give it another try, but not sure if I should continue with Level K since it's pretty much what her other workbook teaches or get Level 1?
This looks fabulous! I purchased the old level K language arts because it was so discounted but I’m hoping my first grader will fly through it and we can get our hands on this one halfway into the new school year 😍
Hello 👋🏼 I love and appreciate your videos so much. If you don’t mind me asking, what do you all do for science, history and other subjects like maybe art or music? My child use to be in virtual school but we recently decided to do homeschool. Your videos have helped us so much. Thank you!
OMG It looks amazing!!! I can't wait until the level 2 comes out. My daughter did the old level 1 this past year and it was good but, the new levels look incredible. She is so cute. Thank you for your wonderful videos you put out for us homeschoolers. By the way, what kind of pencil is your daughter using. I would love to purchase some for my daughter for the up coming school. She has been using the handwriting without tears mini pencils and I think it is time for an upgrade. Can't wait for your curriculum picks for the 22-23 school year.
Thank you so much for this video!!!! I couldn't decide if I should go with level K or , but this flip through helped tremendously. Can you share the link for the timer and the pencils please, I tried to look in your Amazon store.

Thanks for this video! I am still a little confused about the whole thing thou. We finished the last version of Level K and already have the old version of Level 1, which we will use. I am just wondering how different they actually are... (the new one from the last version). Have you used the previous version with your older kids? TIA ;)
Hi! Yes! I've used the older version twice and we loved it too! I think the biggest differences are the inclusion of geography, the letter tiles app, and videos. Plus the Booster Books and Cards. If you have the older version and don't mind not having those things, then I would say go for it! Your child won't know the difference and it's still a wonderful curriculum. 😁❤️ I hope this helps!
I'm a first time HS momma in CA and will be purchasing TGANB Level 1 but I had a question because I am so new to this. Since it has a Geography section, how many lessons does it have? Will it suffice for a full school year or will I have to purchase additional resources? Help! Lol
?Question- my oldest (8 yr 2nd grader) is currently halfway through AAR level 2. We have loved AAR and it’s been wonderful for him, he’s growing into a confident reader and I can’t say enough good things about AAR……BUT I think he’s ready to start more language work, grammar creative writing etc……what are you thoughts about stopping AAR level 2 and picking TGTB LA instead??
Hi Michelle! Hmmmm.....this is a good question. Honestly, I wouldn't fix what's not broken. If it's working with AAR I would stick to it. Maybe you can add TGTB for all the other parts and skip the reading lessons. Then you'll have everything covered without having to get extra books for EVERY subjects. ❤ Hope this helps!
@@PursuingPeace thank you. I'm using All about Reading right now and I'm thinking about combining it with TGTB new reading cards and readers because all about is just not working out as well as I thought

Does the new curriculum from Good and the beautiful level 1 lang arts require the students in the beginning to know how to read in the lessons right away?
I think they would expect them to know what's covered in level K. So definitely a base level of reading. I've found the company really responsive when I email. I'm sure they would answer those questions

Got mine ordered this morning! I will have to see if I need to switch out the booster cards to level C.
Oh right! That could happen if your child is ahead in reading. 😁
Do you have a link for your TV stand? We have a similar one and it broke when we tried to rearrange but I just love the style. Do you like yours?
