  • This is my go to quick & easy pizza dough recipe (shared below) with a delicious homemade tomato base, mozzarella, cheddar and covered in different meats. All details to go along with the video will be posted below. We usually just have the two cheeses on ours but fancied going all out and it was so worth it! 😋
Sausages cooked in the oven for 20 mins
Chicken breast butterflied and cooked off in a little veg oil and butter on medum heat
Same pan used for the bacon & the mini meatballs (just beef mince, salt & pepper rolled into tiny balls)
    Tomato base:
    1 tin chopped tomatoes
    Tomato purée
    A little water
    - pour all ingredients into a blender and blitz for 15 seconds (you don’t have to blitz if you like the tomato chunks)
    - pour into a saucepan, add salt, pepper & mixed herbs and whisk together on medium-low heat
    - cover with lid until it starts bubbling to the top then remove and let the sauce simmer & thicken for roughly 10 minutes
    - pour into a bowl or container and allow to cool & thicken before using (I made mine 2 hours in advance and it was perfect)
    Pizza dough:
375g plain flour (strong plain bread flour also works really well)
    Pinch salt
    7g (1 packet) dried yeast
    225ml warm water
    30ml veg oil
    - add dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together
    - weigh wet ingredients out into a jug then pour into dry ingredients
    - mix together to form a dough and then tip out onto a floured surface
    - knead until it comes together as a smooth dough, adding more flour if needed
    - weigh out into portions (I usually do two at around 300g for full size and one at 75g ish for my 19 month old’s)
    - lay on a floured surface and leave to rest for 20 mins
    - roll out the dough into your pizza base shape and plonk on a pizza tray
You can then add your pizza base, cheese & chopped up toppings onto your pizza
Pop them in the oven for 10 mins at 200C
Homemade chips nice and easy, I use Maris Piper potatoes so we can have skin on chips, cut them up and then tip them into the pre-heated chip pan. They usually take around 7-8 mins so can go in the same time as the pizza for everything to be ready at the same time
