  • Savotta Jaakari Medium size backpack is great backpack for the price and undestructable. Great materials, made in Estonia, designed for Finnish special forces and border patrol. Serious piece of equipment and one of the best backpacks I tried so far. Great for bushcraft, outdoor and camping!

    As one of those crazy people, who like minimal overnighters, this medium pack takes a decent load easy; sleeping bag, Finish Army sleepmat, tarp, bivvybag, clothes, jet oil,plus plus plus everything for a night or two

    I’m sitting here in shades State Park in Indiana USA I got my heart got up by 10 x 10 I just did it started to rain. I’m really enjoying watching your video not here more or less kind of things I’d like to watch. I’ve been watching that pack for a while you have a couple other individuals I watch it for a long time I really like it. I just got my Skrama today as I was heading out for the state park it delivered delivered. This thing is a beast when it comes to processing any kind of wood I do love it.

    I love my M. Had it for 3 years so far and it has almost instantly become my all time favorite. I often have it up to 15kg and it carries perfectly. Yes, the straps are unpadded and at the beginning it will not be hugely comfortable with heavier loads on longer trips, but if you do use it frequently you get used to it fairly quickly and you won't be missing the padding. Due to lack of it i find it feels much more solid and stable on my back, especially in difficult terrain and steep ascents. As long as the volume is adequate I'll always choose it over the L
    I'll be interested to see what difference the alu frame makes

      Good to know - I need to load it with around 15Kg and was worried about the straps. Thank you!

    Love this pack, it's my default day hike pack, I agree about the padding, wish they wouldve made them a bit thicker, but over all amazing pack

    • @petetervola4834
      @petetervola4834 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They made them thin deliberately. It helps one to shoot with a rifle, when the paddings are not too fluffy. Never had bothered me. There should not be too much weight on them, when hip belt adjusted correctly.

    Jääkäri Small owner here. I've not had much time in them, but the Hazard4 strap pads fit perfectly into the factory webbing and (so far) seem to be great.
    Also, the Dutch surplus from Varusteleka works Perfectly with this pack

    Will it survive a 250 meter fall off a cliff. Just kidding. Though I did see a video where a guy's pack tumbled down a steep cliff about 250 meters. He was able to get it but bummed out because his full whiskey bottle was smashed... Ouch!

    Would you recommend this for a inch bag and what is the max capacity in liters it can fit?

    • @kerrybay7995
      @kerrybay7995 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      30 liters, approx. Inherently, that is not that much. I do not have this pack, but one that is VERY similar, but can be expanded to 34/35 liters. With the addition of a couple pouches I can push the volume to 40, but that's more for organization and ease of access. As an INCH bag, something like this would be your best bet. You absolutely can carry everything you need to (outside of frozen Russian tundra and the surface of Mars), with the expection of a quantity of food and water, but a pack this size tends to 'sit' well and rarely be more weight than less-than average.
      Train.
      Find a pack that fits you well.
      Wear said pack properly. (waist belt goes around the navel!)
      Fanny packs ARE cool.
      If you are worried about looking 'tactical' or 'slick', you will fail.
      Make it work for your needs.
      Train more.
      Adjust as needed.

      @@kerrybay7995 thanks for the info and def agree on training i ruck with my current pack at least once a week I’m currently using a direct action dragon egg n it’s just a bit to small for my needs at 27 liters max also how do bags like this sit with kit on is there any load lifters or adjustments I can use
